The way I see it there are 3 different player groups,

1) Players who like the game how it currently is and want to continue playing it and just it.

2) Players who don't like how the game currently is and either cancelled membership or quit all together at some point since 2007.

3) Players who still have membership and would be looking to also switch up the game play with this throwback version.


So why can't we ALL just vote yes so that we continue promoting diversity from Jagex so WE ALL have a game experience we are happy with.

I have absolutely no problem from starting from scratch. Actually, i'd have it no other way. There will be a race to the highscores, and new legends will be born. This is a major step in the right direction, and when these servers are released, I bet they will have more players than the main game.

Our goal has to be at least 500,000 however, and 750,000 for support. In only 4 hours, there's been 550 pages of comments which equates to 5500 people commenting which is alot harder than voting lol. I know that this is going to be hard, but Jagex is a business, and we have to prove to them that we really want it.

Once thing is for sure though, I'm buying a 3 month membership card in the summer. Gonna be scaping it up old school!

i dont agree with the starting "fresh" idea, you don't go from level 1-99 in two days. i don't find it fair having to throw away all of our stats just because you guys messed up the current game. we worked years for all of our stats, it was time consuming. nobody wants to restart on their character. we are VETERANS who made this game come out this far and apparently without us the game has been dead ever since this EOC update. wilderness is DEAD and the few people pking are noobs who just joined the game.

IF we start "fresh" make it like a private server that we can level up quick.

you guys say EOC have been a great improvement to the game yet the numbers don't lie. before you would get 200k players online easily now not even 90k.

I thought jagex hit rock bottom bringing out sof .. but THIS is sleazebag material at its best!

Making people pay just to vote knowing that most these people quit after SoF and/or EoC because of these updates......

Now they know this voting is impossible to get without making these people get members back ... all I got to say is WOW I thought I meet sleazebag's in my life but this takes the cake

this sounds awesome! i am interested very much but not sure id pay for it if it came to that. if it gets enough votes and can play for free beside my membership great :) i will put some time into old school fun :) but will not take me away from the main game at all. i find runescape more interesting now. but deffinatly love the idea of how it used to be played. classic i never play mainly cos it was before my time. where as 2007 sounds more ideal and is really the NEW classic

@ Jagex, You have my vote if there's plans to remove Free Trade in the current game since it'll be in the 07scape.
