I love this, everything. Please don't update or add content to the 2007 version and make the same mistakes you did before.

The reason people will play this is because, well it was good. If you change it again, a lot of people will quit again. I know i would.

Hey, Jagex. I know I have canceled my membership a few months ago I would still like to give you my opinion on rares. I believe that rare holiday items should still be in the game, I also believe that they should be even MORE epic than they were before! Hear me out, there should be a system put in place (random events/monster drops) where it would make it extremely hard/lucky for a rare to be found randomly by a player! Yes, this may take some time and work but it will give some kind of new thrill to the game that nobody would be expecting! Of course we would need over 750k votes to apply this system because why work on something risky like this when there's not really a substantial amount of demand for the game anyways?

TL;DR - Rares should be a random thing for a player to stumble upon (random spawn drop/elite monster drop/random event). Yes, it is risky. Yes, it is hard to implement, but it would be so worth it to add a kind of new excitement to the game! Also, this should only be looked into after an overwhelming demand for '07 servers because it would be hard to apply something like this*

**;DR TL;DR - make rares a random ocurrence (random drop/spawn/event). But only if the community wants to make this happen and wants to make 07 happen (750k+ votes)

Can't believe people are whining about the fact that its '07. Really?! Jagex is actually cooperating with us and you're still gonna moan and groan? Pathetic.

Also want to add that I personally think rares should be in a trade menu with Party Pete. They would be untradable to other players but cost an extremely large amount of gold to purchase from the npc. This way they don't become inflated but are still a respectable symbol amongst the community (because of their cost). Just my thoughts. Hi Mod Ronan

You idiots who are saying "Oh we want a 2010-2012" server are idiots. The reason why they are releasing 2007 version of RuneScape is for strictly people who want nostalgia back. Also this will bring back a fair amount of veterans. 2010-2012 is basically the RuneScape it is now...except without EoC of course. 2007 differs way more from 2013 than 2010 because of graphics, sounds, and most importantly game-play. Again, the sole purpose of releasing this server is to relive memories. So for all you annoying kids who are sucking for a 2010 server should gtfo because that's not happening. EoC or 2007 your choice. =)
