No just no, think about it. 2000 Players per server standing on cows 24/7 to get 4level this would be total mess, or buying items in shops (mostly like armour and weapon shops) people camping on it to get mithril scimitar :x. Pre summoning or pre EoC would be perfect.

2007 servers will come back as a separate entity to the main RuneScape game, with a dedicated development team, with no extra membership fee. These servers will receive regular maintenance, some content updates and integration of anti-bot technology if necessary.

I don't mean this in a rude way, and I didn't actually read this through all that much. But how is this benefiting me? Like, can I train and raise stats in the 2007scape or something? Or may I as well play a private server?

Wow. The coming of this news actually gave me chills. I have played this game since I believe November of 2001. Obviously there have been breaks in there, but the prime of my playing career was 2006-2007. I have very recently tried coming back and I play a bit, but it just isn't RS to me. You had better believe I will be voting for this. I would actually come back to the game to a large extent. Jagex really listened to the community this time, and for this I applaud them. Way to go guys.

I think it would have been very wise to ALSO add the option to vote for different versions of the game to the poll on the 15th.

From what I've seen, out of the tens of thousands of people who want old servers back, half of them want 2006/2007 era servers back and the larger half simply wants a recent version from before the EOC was implemented.

We should be able to vote for these 2 options:

- 2007 servers
- November 01 2012 servers (pre-EOC)

Further voting options:

- Yes
- No


Can you consider adding that to the poll?

The poit of being member vote is that people will come back and renew membership and will rise the amount of members this game has so it can potentionaly reach the goal. If you guys want it tell your old friends to get their membaership back if they are even close to interested.
