On a serious note, making it a members only vote totally kills it. All of the people who already quit will not renew their membership just to vote on something that may or may not happen.

I doubt runescape even has 750k paying members, even if it does how many of them are bots. I would love to have an old version of the game back but its looking like it will be pricey due to the lack of votes it will receive due to the members only vote.

Fair enough to Jagex though, making it a members vote allows them to have a low number of votes which allows them to charge more for it. That is what they want. EVEN MORE MONEY. They dont care about who wants it back, if they really cared anyone would be able vote.

They are just polling members to see how much more money they can squeeze out of players, which in my mind is a wonderful little trick. Hats off to you guys, another way to make a quick buck or two.

Does this mean that all members would have to pay an increased membership fee regardless of which version of the game they play, or not?

^ That info seems to suggest that not everyone will have to pay additional fees... However a more direct answer to my questions would be nice, just to make sure.

Edit: Found the answer from Pips now. The fee's only for those wanting access to the 2007 servers.
