So are people who were members before the EoC, will their votes not count? Because I was a member Pre-EoC but because I didn't agree with the EoC I cancelled my membership. Does this mean I have to get membership in order to vote? If so that's pretty sad. It is not my fault for an update that I did not like coming into the game.

I think people who were a member right before the EoC should have a voice in the matter and not be forced to go buy another membership. However, I will completely even pay 15$ in order to play the version. It's a hefty price, however I'll more than likely do so.

It's kinda misleading asking for $15 additional for 50,000 players then $5 Additional for 250,000. To me it seems like those are just costs if the numbers are too low cause it's pricey to maintain separate servers for so few people. I'm just hoping it's not Current price of members + $15 + $5... Cause at that point it would be absurd and would simply be Jagex giving players the illusion of free choice. Some clarification on this please

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------

The reason it would be free after a certain target of interested players is reached is so that even if it loses money to maintain in the short run, the customer satisfaction achieved would bring in new players, improve company reputation and make money in the long run.

Jagex could also be banking on the old players coming back who quit for eoc to fund the newer servers.

Or it could just to be to make the work worth it, think of renting out a hockey rink for a game of shinny. It costs $300 for the night, with 5 people that would be $60, with 20 people it would be $15. Same thing for the server prices

it seems to me yh its good there servers may come back but the trouble is this is more of a marketing thing then for us... they changed what we want to make money... using us and our feelings to get money... :/ i mean just for the 750.000 if everyone got the £4.95 member ship it works out as £3,712,500 nearly 4 million pounds and the odds off getting 750.000 are very slow... looks like the F2P are getting forgotten about even tho we are a large amount of the community. i was a member but i don't have the money atm to get member ship :/ tbh if there level 4 doesn't get reached the servers will die very fast because you will only be looking at a small amount of people which an afford £7 on-top off the £5 they already pay a month.

Basically, what you're getting is what was available on August 10, 2007. Whatever results will happen from this poll will be driven from what members exist or will get within the next few weeks.

The servers are optional. Your vote just matters to those who want the servers. As for why it's members only? Back in '07 and prior, being a member was much more fun, relatively speaking, than being a non member.
