Constructive criticism on the availability of the polls:

I'm a vet and have played rune scape for over 5 years, I don't see why they can't just make it so free accounts that are eligible for the 5 year and 10 year vet cape also have the ability to vote in this poll.

I'm not getting a membership because I don't like the current state the game is in, and I'm not spending my money just to vote after spending 5 or more years of playing rune scape weather paying or not we should have the ability to vote.

But I guess your new paying members are more important than us all we get is a cape and no say because we don't want to pay for something we don't like. I'm sure there may be other people like me but please understand I'm only trying to represent myself and not other players. I'm simply stating my own opinions on the behalf of myself.

Basically what I got out of the news article is, you have to pay us 5 dollars if you want to vote! If not enough people pay us, we will punish you by making you pay a lot of money to play rune scape 2007 if you decide not to bring your account back to membership status. Make sure you pay us or you can't vote or else the vote is not legitimate! Which is basically like telling people who are coming to vote for a political election that they have to pay 10 dollars to cast their vote or else they can not vote.

I wanted to c this but im not gonna renew my membershi to vote i would play it.. Jagex should build in a feature that if u have ever hought a year plus membership u can still vote or else it is unfair( eoc made me quit)

While there are many problems that people are associating with this, I do believe that it is a very good idea that many players (Old and new) are excited about. I don't personally find it a problem that I will have to start from scratch, it will just be a large overdose of Nostalgia that I'd be sure to enjoy.

However, the only problem I see in this is the lack of members actually voting for this to pass through. If every member voted "Yes", they would suffer no casualties to their game. Jagex would still update the main game frequently, as they stated. If every Member would click "Yes" as opposed to "No", they would just be helping out the veteran players, with no real casualty on their end.

Another problem that is linked to the above problem is the amount of Veterans there are from 2007 compared to how many there are now. A lot of the Veterans have long since, quit *he game. Many of them remain as Free players, and have the FaceBook page "Like" 'd, along with some other method to receive news from Jagex. However, I feel that not many votes will be accumulated due to the fact that a lot of us that want servers dedicated to 2007, don't have Memberships anymore.

If Jagex could find a way to include a portion of "Free" players to vote for this grand idea, I do believe that we have a more fair chance of getting the servers.

These problems aside I do believe that this is indeed the moment I've been waiting a very long time for. If this feature is passed,(With a maximum of $5 extra on the membership) you can count on me buying it as soon as possible.

Let's hope that these Servers will arrive with a cheap price tag!
