Hmmm interesting.

Starting fresh accounts doesn't seem all that bad and all however don't you think Jagex that if we were x level back on the 10th August, shouldn't we have the choice to stay at that level or not?

Would make more sense, I know some people might want to start fresh again but for some people who would love the servers and enjoy it but not with the necessary time to grind the levels again, it would possibly attract more attention to some old school players.

Just a thought.

One CRUCIAL point that needs to be made;

Everyone who is requesting the old runescape (2007) are all grown up now. We have jobs, educations to take care of. Most of the community which is requesting the old Runescape don't have time to be training there accounts up.

I suggest the stats, XP, quests we have aquired on the main Runescape to be transferred over to the 2007 servers since most of the people don't have time to level up & the new players that come to Runescape don't understand the 2007 servers & why you would want to play lower graphics etc.. especially for a higher cost in membership.

If you truely want to do what the community asks for then transfer these things over too!

PS: Partyhats were a main part of Runescape too, everyone dreamt of having one & hoped to eventually have one. Not transferring the economy over will diminish discontinued items. If you want to completely recover the community, enjoyment & fulfillment Runescape once had then why not take the extra step further? What is stopping you? Transfer everything over!

Hope you found these suggestions useful, thanks.

CHALLENGE ACCEPTED....we'll get 750,000 votes!

@Into the Fray:

If you didn't notice if enough people vote, there won't be any additional fees. If you don't have anything ****tructive to say, DON'T WASTE SPACE WITH A POST, since it "will in NO WAY help anything."

It's a huge shame they were so silly to make the poll members only. Don't give me that load of rubbish that it's for security measures to make it fair. Simply by making it 1 vote per host and/or IP address is adequate. For the investment side, so many more players would come back if it was just there. Think ahead JaGeX. To be honest, go ask some private server owners if they would like to contribute towards the development of it. They probably will, for free or for little payment. They've already made their respective servers successful, may as well benefit from it.

"..veterans back"

Yeah, because all of the veterans they don't play and aren't interested are going to pay £4 odd to vote in a poll which is probably going to be lost due to the amount of new, and young players that are extremely narrow-minded.

I hope it comes around though. At anybody who is thinking of not voting for it, please do. Remember, it's not going to affect your current gaming experience and you never know, you may and probably will like it.

Also, 50000 votes, if each player follows through, which they likely will do. Paying $15 each. Then extra players who don't want to waste money buying membership just to vote playing as well. That's a minimum of $750,000 for a small server with a small, probably 2-4 man development team + servers. That's an absolute joke right?

Hmmm, This is very interesting.
I wonder how this is going to work, I think that 2007 will be coming back even though I like the EOC, will Their be a separate high scores on the website? I'm very interested.
Thank you for listening to your players Jagex.
