The problem with that statement is that you are not the only person who plays Runescape. There are literally millions of player who played in 2007 and before who prefer the game the way it was back then. So to say this is stupid just because you started playing in 2008 is nonsensical.

i would love to have it be more like 2009 or even better 2010 but i guess 2007 is way much better than what it is now, runescape is a whole diffident game now than it was back when i enjoyed it, for me the cut off point was dungeoneering, anything before that was still enjoyable, after dungeoneering i didn't mind it much because i didn't have to deal with it if i didn't want to, but the eoc was the line, i think the eoc was actually a good update because it made me quit and see how much i was wasting my life, but with an offer like this to bring it back, i would actually love to play again.

thanks a lot jagex, and to getpsyco, i don't enjoy runescape as it is now, i had a lot of membership from when i enjoyed it, haven't played it after eoc, i don't see any consequences.

Also Jagex, Remove all the current BOTS in-game before thinking on making 2007 servers...

As much fun as it would be to see the old RuneScape game I played, I'm not sure yet if I'll be supporting especially since I know I wouldn't play if there were additional costs (Not that I don't support you guys, I just support the continuation of the current game :) ).

The other thing is that I know I wouldn't support this if it meant in any way seeing an effect in the current game, again because I would prefer to work on getting the current game right rather then just tossing out an old one.

I'd also like to add that I am a little astounded at the number of players I have seen just on the few pages I read who, rather then be happy for a 2007 server, instead shouted "2009" or "2011" or even "2012"! It seems there are a LOT of people who want their RuneScape added, not THE old RuneScape.

I do have a few questions though that I would like to see answered.

1. Assuming that the game was released with an extra cost, could I elect to NOT pay that extra cost and NOT play the 2007 game? In other words stick to current membership prices but only play the current game. Between membership and the occasional Solomon purchase I can't really afford to pay anything extra right now.

2. Can it be assured that myself and other players enjoying the current game would not feel any effects of adding another game Jagex has to handle? I am not saying this out of greed, but I am very much looking forward to the improvements this year and to moving forward. While it would be nice to see the old game, I would hate to sacrifice progress in the current game in any way.

Anything is better than EOC and I gotta admit I'm very surprised, I didn't think this would happen at all. Anyhow we've seen so many updates some good some of em were horrible. Now everyone that spent years training their account why should they suffer just because EoC was a bad update.. Don't get me wrong Id really like a Pre-EoC server but not with the old graphics. Ye some people want the game how it was back in 2006-2007 but let's face it, Jagex made so many new updates that it'll be boring just using Whip/dds.. Id want a server from 2009/2010 where there was mad fun pking, we should also keep what we have in bank right now and it should be trade limit like the old times.

This is fantastic! I've been waiting for this too happen, as I am a veteran of runescape and miss the old times. I only played this game to pk because it's what I enjoyed most and especially in 2006-2007. I've been playing for 8-9 years. The only change to the poll I'd make is it being members only, I understand you want dedicated votes from members. But what about players like me who have been playing 9 years and is currently f2p? Most of my runescape time spent was in fact being a member. Maybe make the poll where runescape f2p veterans can also vote. Because those are players that are without doubt, dedicated. l sir sped l
