You have no idea how happy it made me to see this post. This is an amazing idea but there are some things I would like to comment on. The Wild/Free trade vote was a free vote which is why it received 1.4 million votes. Since this is a members only vote, players that have quit to play private servers and other games will need to purchase membership in order to vote, while most of the current subscribers prefer the EoC. This leads me to believe that the amount of votes will not get that high, as much as we all would like them to. I will purchase membership just to vote, because this post has slightly restored my hope in Jagex. I do understand Jagex is a business, probably in dire need of income since plenty of players have quit because of the EoC and they are seeing this as a business opportunity, which is smart. However, I think the possibility of 750,000 older players renewing their membership and voting within the next two weeks is highly unlikely. If that many people renewed their membership to vote then that's $5,692,500 for Jagex (providing that membership costs $7.95). Who knows, maybe a 2007 server with 50,000-250,000 would be a great community because botters and trollers would not want to pay a regular membership fee + the $15 or $5 to play on the new servers. As I said I support this very much, I will renew my membership, and I am greatly looking forward to the results.
Oh, and one other thing. Will the be Free to play versions of the 2007 servers or only member versions? (Both included in the $15, or *5 extra fee)
The free to play pure community was so much fun back then.
