I think the voting targets are way too high at the moment and that the results for each tier of votes is FAR too concrete at this point in time.
I just read the news post and it sounds like the polls will only be open for 2 weeks. I am certain we will be able to get tens of thousands of votes, possibly hundreds of thousands of votes - but there is just simply NO WAY it will reach the 750k+ mark in 2 weeks.
I mean RuneScape only has a solid 60,000 or so REAL PLAYERS who are actively playing the game. I'm sure we can get tens of thousands of extra votes from retired players or people who have quit, but there is no guarantee that the news will reach them within the 2 week time period that the polls are available for voting.
Anybody else think they should adjust the target numbers to a more realistic level that is parallel to the actual amount of members who play the game regularly? (not including bots)
