Is there an option to vote against it? I got the impression that it's only a "Yes" or you don't vote at all.
90% of the people supporting this are straight out lying that they played the game back then. "Oh, I played on a different account back then" is not a valid excuse unless you can post from the older account. Also, starting the game in 2007 doesn't count either, you won't have had a feel for what the game was like back then..
I don't know the purpose of this post, but it frustrates me because I can clearly tell that this will be brought back into the game - with the highest tier votes.
The PKing side of the game, and the players who play the game purely to PK, and nothing else, are the problem with the game. They bring in most of the RWT/Botting/Luring/Scamming/Staking/Gambling etc etc, because the players are young and immature (generally speaking). 5 years ago, most of these players would have been no older than 9 or 10, and clearly didn't play the game.
Last time you brought the PKers back (Free Trade Feb 2011), the game went downhill dramatically. This will be exactly the same. Finally the majority of the players who ruin the game are beginning to leave, and then you pull them right back..
I dispair, because there is nothing I can do which will prevent this update - it's inevitably going to happen. This really angers me, and I don't really get mad at most of Jagex's decisions. But this has to be the WORST.
Please Jagex, listen to players who have actually been around from LONG BEFORE 07.
