Why if you have a full back up can those of us that had accounts back then not have them back as they were on the back up?
surely you must have these as well. Also the figures do not stack up! there are many players who have quit....my son included who would c*me back to the old style game, but not at extra cost on top of membership.....
I myself do not see the point of launching a new game, which is what would happen if all the players are lvl3 to start......This is not the game I know and loved from 2007, rather just the world we used to play in and a long and tedious character advancement like it used to be, those of us who spent hours getting the levels would once again have to go through it rather than have our stats back as of the backup.
This once again sounds like you have set voting numbers so that we will have to pay extra for something that if implemented properly could see your genuine membership go up again anyway earning you more revenue and you will possibly find that many of us if given a choice will be back on the old server, and all your new worlds will have is lots of bots and a few players who have joined since the EoC. If I had wanted to play a game with this sort of combat system there are many already out there that use it in a differing environment and it works better as it lays better with the game itself. Where as Runescape evolved with its original system which suited the type of gameplay and players it had. If you make this a free to members, as you did classic, which I liked but would never be playable on a long term basis, you may find people renewing their subscriptions just to play the better, OLD, version of the game.
Do NOT tempt us with this, and then say that as you set the bar too high,that it will cost us extra.......Its the extras we are complaining about!!!!! are you still not listening? .......Please from an old member of some considerable years now bring this back free and give us our characters from that time.
