Starting from level 3 is ridiculous, and people will see why in the following months: Veterans lose interest in re-training, bots take over, and the only people who can afford the spare time to grind their stats over are immature, younger players who didn't play 2007 in the first place.
As for these old-school servers bringing the "sense of community" back, how come valid points that offer a different opinion are all too often met with ignorant responses on these forums?
For all of you who criticize mature players with jobs and relationships that don't have the time to re-train our stats (you know, actual vets), let me just say this: Enjoy.
Yup, enjoy your severe dropoff following next month, when people refuse to pay extra to train stats they already have.
Enjoy your influx of bots by PKers who just want to use the wilderness and hate the grind, and enjoy your gold farming bots that will add the "kickstart" to your fresh economy.
As for me, I'll be staying quit. I thought this was the solution but yet again good idea, bad execution.
