Here is my story: I have been playing from 05-10 actively...
i loved this game and i truly had some of the best times with my irl and online friends. i wouldn't trade it for any other experience in the world.
But why did i quit? Because it was obvious that Runescape was trying to adapt to the MMORPG market by adding hd features and speeding up the game, continually adding overpowered content. God wars dungeon was the first, and then the chaotics, then storm of armadyl, and now we got draygor or whatever replaced my chaotics.
Now, i see that the Jagex mods have manned up and decided to add 07 servers. I am totally pumped and am about to vote and told many of my friends about it. One thing that irks me, however, is that some members refuse to vote? i really don't understand why. the reason the first two levels of the vote system was to break-even to pay for new moderators that will manage the 07 servers. as stated on the post, in no way does the EOC community become affected; they have all the more to gain and to experience the old Runescape. also, for newbie players, you will experience Runescape's roots, which is truly a treat. if any of you have not had the chance to vote, i suggest you do. This is bigger than big and everyone will have the power to determine the future of 07 Runescape. This is as big as it gets: Bigger than a new Pokemon game, bigger than Wrestlemania, or the Superbowl, or even the Stanley Cup, and POSSIBLY bigger than defil3d's weight count (inside joke).
Phew, I am tired. Well, everyone. Let's do this, guys. #Vote2007Rs. That is all.
