If you want to play EOCscape your subscription cost will not change no matter what happens with the 2007 Runescape. The 2007 Runescape will depend on the final number on that counter at end of voting. If less than 500k votes there will be an added cost to play the 2007 Runescape only. If votes get above 500k there wil be NO added cost, just your regular subscription to play either version. If we get 750k+ votes FTP will be allowed into the 2007 Runescape.No other number gets FTP in at this time.

Most used rune weapons/armours and where to get:

Rune scimitar = Firegiant, (Ninja Impling, dont remember if it was around back then)

Obtaining from the Champions' Guild:
Rune plateskirt: 60,000 coins
Rune platelegs: 60,000 coins
Rune chainbody: 50,000 coins
Rune longsword: 32,000 coins
Rune sword: 20,800 coins
Rune mace: 14,400 coins
(Rune 2h: 40,000 coins, might have been updated later)

After dragon slayer:
Rune platebody = 65,500 coins

I'm just saying we do not have to wait ages for first player to be 99 smithing, we have pretty good selection of items from monsters/shops around runescape. Also Dragon scimitar/Longsword can be bought from the store after quest etc...

the real reason why Jagex is doing this -

members only vote = *7.95 fee.
some people ill estimate 1/2 (probolly more) created a acc and got membs for $1.99

so 1/2 paid $7.95 and the other half paid *1.99

total = 199,793 ÷ 2 = 99,896 people paid $7.95 and 99,896 people paid $1.99
(just estimates)

99,896 * 7.95 = $794,177 99,896 * 1.99 = $198,793

794,177 + 198,793 = $992,970 and counting

and thats just for posting a vote quarry on the homepage.
Tell me thats not a rip-off and I'll say you're lying.

Tbh for ******** over the RS community like this, I sincerely hope that the Jagex building catches on fire, burns down, everyone gets killed and someone pee's on the ashes.

Note, 2007 will not be all peaches and cream... In amongst all the bad update Jagex foisted on the paying members since then, there were a few good efficiency tweaks and annoyance-removers that made it into the code.

One annoyance that will return is a choke-point: The gate on the fence that separated the blast furnace from the 3 smithing anvils. In a busy blast-furnace world, getting stuck at that gate was a royal pain.

The gate and fence were removed on Nov 9, 2009, and the level 60 smithing requirement was tied to the 3 anvils themselves.
