The "start" was never a struggle.. you explored.. you learned things about the game.. you trained your skills (the ones you wanted to train)... you chatted with people around you.. you formed a "following" line that spanned from Draynor, through Taverly.. across White Wolf Mountain... and into Catherby.. there was TONS of fun!

I don't now, nor will I ever, understand anyone wanting to "import" stats or bank or anything else.

You want to be the "best" or the "highest" or.... I don't even know what.

You have your stats and bank in the current version of the game.. you don't have to play the RS2 (2007) version. YOU have choices.

If you don't want to pay for the game, and start at the beginning.. don't.

For those wanting to pay for the game.. and willing to start over.. they have to first pay for the eoc game.. before jagex will even "let them" pay for the older server. They, have NO choices.

Start over, or don't. I will always hope that jagex retains this last microscopic amount of integrity.. and ignores those asking for stat transfers.

I am honestly tired of reading all of these people complaining about being "wiped" and starting at level 3.

So what? Do you want to go onto those 2007 servers with your Soul Wars trained accounts? Never want a chance to become the #1 player or get up on the leader boards?
I LOVE The idea of wiping everyone clean and starting fresh. It makes the entire game and the entire experience much more interesting. I want to see the community get together and create an economy. I want to be there for the first 1,000 Iron mined. Or the first Rune Platebody created.
I want it to mean something when someone achieves a 99 or gets a Dragon Chainbody from the Kalphite Queen.

I don't want to just log into runescape and immediately run out to the wilderness. I want to be pulled into the world. The nostalgic feel of being a newbie again. The feel of having to create and do things.

The feeling that I am part of something new. That I'm here for the beginning and I'm helping to create a community for the future players.
That if one day in years from now I can say I was there to fish the first 1k lobsters or I was there when the first shark was caught.
I experienced the first 126.

I want the game to become special again. I don't want to log into a maxed out account from the get go and have everything handed to me as if it's RSEOC. If I wanted that I would just play the EOC.

Why don't you people open your eyes and realize the chance you're being given here.
With enough hard work you could possibly become one of the best players on the game. Because thousands of people don't have years of time on you. It's a fair playing field.

This is the main reason I will be returning to Runescape 2007 servers.

This is awesome!! But just one question...

Will we get to keep our items and stats and bring them to old RuneScape?

If not, please make this an option so we don't have to play 2007 as noobs!!

PLEASE RESPOND TO THIS AND LET US IMPORT OUR ITEMS AND STATS
You peer into a Chapel of Zamorak, which appears to be abandoned. Before you can close the doors again, a Revenant Chaos-Bringer flies at you and slays you instantly with a bolt of Shadow Lightning. Oh dear! You are dead!

If Jagex lets you transfer your account stats/banks.
I'm going on record and saying that I will NOT be playing the game.
There are those of us who didn't like the game recently.
Why should we be at a disadvantage at a game that we do like?

The main reason I want to play RS07 is for the experience. To experience being at the start of a game again. Clean slate. Clean game. Creating an economy and a community myself with fellow players.

The game will get extremely bland and boring quickly if you're allowed to transfer stuff.
Please. Do NOT make this an option.
It will kill any real reason to play RS07.

I don't want to waste my time anymore,
I want to see you noobs crash and burn with your "new fresh start"
you can't have the "newb" feel twice. you already know this game upside down, the adventure feel will be gone, the curiosity will be gone. for god sakes, when you log in you will already know what you want to do.
stop fooling yourselfs, I give it 3 days after the update before everyone is begging jagex for their stats transferred.
most of us don't have the time anymore to start all over.

I'm in favor of starting anew. People commenting on not having time due to responsibilities in reality and wanting their stats+items to come with them to '07 are ridiculous. I'm at a university, I have responsibilities academically, and socially (due to student organizations). I have no problem re-rolling. I'll just play when I can and enjoy it as I go. I've spent well over 9 years on this game, and only recently UN-subscribed due to lack of enjoyment (mostly from the community).

Danscap. I've been playing for 7+ years and I'd be HAPPY to have my stats and everyone else's stats reset.

Why? Because it let's everyone start over. It gives me a chance to get onto the leaderboards. Even if I have little time compared to back in the day. I still want that feeling.

Tell me. How exciting will it be to play Runescape 2007. Logging in and just going straight to the wilderness? How about logging and killing an abyssal demon for just another Abyssal Whip that EVERYONE already has one of?
It doesn't seem very exciting to me.

You along with many of these other posters seem ignorant.
You're just too lazy to start over. You don't want to experience the game. You want to head right out to the wilderness and start killing people. Which in a few days time would get extremely boring. Because you've already got all of your stats trained. You've already got all the gold and gear you'd need.
Go to kill Abyssal Demons? You've already got enough whips.
Train a few stats up again? Why not just do the training on EOC? You can still cook on EOC there's nothing stopping you from doing so.

You're just one of these children posting on here, because you don't want to put effort into the game anymore and by doing so you want the game to become bland and boring so you can have a few cheap hours running around the wilderness with your whip/dds before you return to your EOC game.

Don't tell me I'd get bored. I'd have far more fun building a game from ground up and training my stats to become the best than I would standing in the wilderness all day from day one.

PS.
It's Pwnagehahaha.
