Does a person run a business to make money or lose money, if f2p was able to vote, there would be to many fake votes, in turn Jagex would be doing updates and maintaining a game with very little if not no profit. (plain and simple) Its already an inaccurate poll, people with multiple acc's voting more then once :(

muby i actually run a succesful business and know how things are supposed to go. the fact is jagex's best bet to make money would be to do 500k level. otherwise most will just quit because of the extra fee. as far as updates go if it was rigged to 750k they would just have to make updates depending on their profits. seperating membership all together would be the best cause then all the money being paid specifically twards 2007 would go twards exactly that.

Current members show the profits better than what a poll for vets and total level requirements would. Honestly, you can't see that they get a better perspective from the community that has stuck with them even in EOC times.

well seeing how they probably dont even have 750k legit members atm ftp would be the only way to hit some of those marks

think about it there are 1.8m people in the highscores which is members only it took a month or so after my membership ran out before i finally got kicked from the highscores plus how many of those membership accs are just the trial members as they puts you on the highscores.how many of those are bots. seriously when you think about it 750k is completely unrealistic for members only when they dont even have the amount of legit members for it probably.

If Jagex let f2p vote, poll would be in the millions by now, people would be making new acc's just to have a vote count, and that's not making money its deceiving the process.
This way people who pay, have the say, and the poll will be a bit closer to accuracy. If they reach 500k votes, I myself would have to say 1/3 will be multiple votes from those who own more than 1 acc :(

Making it members only is a reasonable thing. As MMG said "Our current members are the ones we know for sure are committed to RuneScape and have the biggest stake in our future. If a member votes, we have a high confidence they’ll follow through, as they actively play and pay for RuneScape already."

This is understandable. They wish for those that fund Runescape at the present to vote. For those that were once members and are now f2p, Why should they get to vote as well? You didn't stick around for the long run.

I myself have been playing for 8 years. I am still a member and have not given up on this game. Yes it has changed, however to progress into the future everything must change. Just because some love the old doesn't mean everyone will. Many people are looking towards the New. People need to keep this in mind and stop trying to shun Jagex for the changes they have made.
