I think you need to open up the Poll to Free players aswell, I am a Free player right now because I do not Support what Runescape has become and I refuse to pay to play a game that lost my Interest. Runescape from 2002-2007 was the most fun I've had on any game. I will not pay for membership just to vote. The only way I would ever buy membership is to play the old 2007 Servers. I will not Spend $10.00 to vote for something i wont play after i vote, is this just another way to make money? Open this up to Free to Play, Are you scared you'll get the 750,00 Votes? If you open it up to F2P You'll get the 750,000 Votes within 5 days, almost guaranteed.

Haha, nice try not luring me in with this scam.

I bet they kill the servers 5 months in claiming it's not benefical to keep old school servers up.

Also, not worth paying membership when it's not a sure thing, it'll even happen.

Ok. So I saw 2 things in the "Old School Runescape Anyone?" that confused me. In the FAQ section, the 2 things that confuse me are there. In one part it says:

"We’ll work to make this compatible with our modern infrastructure, so it will use the current account database and you'll be able to use your existing account to log in, if you wish."

And in another part it says:

And another part says "Does this mean I can play my character from back in 2007?
No, everyone will start fresh."

So these 2 things raise my main question: In the server, will I be playing with my current character?

Jagex these goals are absolutely insane. I understand the last one was NOT meant to be reached, but come on...
A much more fair goal would be
50,000
150,000
300,000
500,000
You honestly expect all the old school veterans who quit and would be interested in returning to hear about this in 2 weeks, and resubscribe just to vote? I know that you get a free month of the server which is why I resubscribed, but most people do not, and there are so many lazy people that couldn't be bothered. I think 100K players signing up in first day shows you have a good 100,000 people that are extremely dedicated and anticipated and you should just give us the level 3.
Or at least take my suggestion, because honestly if we do not hit the 250,000 mark the servers will die fast. Not many people are willing to pay $23/month when they have to start all over.

The standard of 750,000, in 2 weeks, with only current members, is WAY to high.

So long as 500,000 thousand is reached, it's fine....but...

2 weeks is not a sufficient amount of time. Make it atLEAST a month to get the word out.

Let f2p players...or say....accounts that were made during or before 2007 vote. That way veterans (who would come back), can vote.

I totally agree with you.Jagex WANTED this to fail so they put an extremely high goal so this would fail and we would have to pay more to play the 2007 version.But its not all Jagex's fault.It's also those that feel Jagex screwed us over when they(Jagex) shoved EoC down our throats and they(the player) have since cancelled their subscription.And also will NOT pay to vote on this 2007 Runescape but they(the player) will play on the 2007 server if it comes thru.Come on all.Vote for the 2007 server and help get the 750K votes.
I voted for the 2007 serve because i want a Runescape WITHOUT EOC.I would prefer a version not quite as old as the 2007 version but if it has NO EOC i am all for any true Runescape.
Get rid of EOC or give us(your paying subscribers) an EOC free version of Runescape without the added cost($5 or $15) on top of the regular subscription.
