Yes I was thinking the same thing. People could make new accounts and vote and such.. But thats what is happening to p2p right now people are making new accounts just to vote. Therefore they are making loads of money only caring about there business. BUt like you said it is a business and a greedy one at that.

I am over the moon and I will definitely return as a full time player!

Been a member since 2005, F2P from classic until then - cancelled with the removal of the Wildy, renewed my membership in 2009 to play with friends again and not cancelled it since. Although, upon the release of the EoC I did quit.

I would be happy to pay any amount just to play a server from back in the sweet golden days.

Well, for the people complaining about paying to vote, who cares. f2P is worthless and you should be a member if your an avid player. If your a veteran and refuse to pay to vote thats sad, cause many of us veterans paid to vote since we don't play the current game due to the downfalls. I agree with being a member to vote, what's wrong with that? Pull out $7.95 and just do it, you wont regret it if your really all for it. Nothings free in the world.

If we get the 750k, jagex has said that we can vote on getting newer updates to turn it into the game you want. frankly my dear, I couldn't give a dam. never had a river to build one on.

How to get 2 votes for $2. Follow step by step:

1. Log in to the website

2. Scroll over to the top right corner of the page and hover your mouse over "Account".

3. Select "Recruit a friend"

4. Scroll down the page and click the green button saying "Recruit friends now"

5. Copy-paste the link or enter an unused email address of yours.

6. Follow the link to create a new account ( create a new email address if you do not have an unused one)

7. Wait for 24 hours.

8. Log-in with your newly-created account and use the offer giving you a membership with a 75% discount ($1.98).

9. Once done, you will receive membership on your main account as the referrer.

10. Vote for 2007 on both accounts.

not impossible. its only been two days since this was announced and only half the world has been able to vote so far. wait for a few days so the news gets out and everyone gets to vote, and its possible we will get there.

I for one, havent bought membership yet, but i will be. frankly my dear, I couldn't give a dam. never had a river to build one on.
