its good you are doing this for the "veterans" but you are not listening to the community. the EOC is the most controversial update ive ever seen. and made many quit as its too confusing and far too much like a poor attempt at World of warcraft. just a nice 2012 update BEFORE EOC would make the majority of us happy. 2007 was good. dont get me wrong. but GE and many more is to good of a feature to not have. just release a version before EOC and a lot more will be happy.

I don't see how you could say a lot more would be happy. you seem to of based that off of your opinions. Me personally, I would prefer a version before grand exchange, but an update such as gwd would be nice.

worded that wrong :P meant to say probably most would be happier. i remember 2007 and for me.. it was to hectic and very inflated prices for what you wanted to buy. hell. i remember black armour and more importantly, black scimmys being the most sought after items, and their prices :O . too many good updates have happened imo after the G.E has been out. just a nice version before EOC would suit me. i cant stand it.

Runescape was at its peak in 2007, its the best time to bring it back, the grand exchange makes people lazy and also gives merching clans the option to cheat people out of millions. I prefer setting my own prices and merching in world 2 fally park all day. I would take runescape 2007 back over any year, theres no summoning and no overpowered useless weapons (chaotics). One update i wouldnt mind is godwars, only sara, zammy and bandos, this way we get dragon boots again. But yeah no overpowerd armour and overpowerd weapons, everything will once again be balanced, i miss this.

No godswords. I think chaotic weapons would be ok though, under the circumstance that there is no korasi, or ****** d claws to hit unbelievable specials.

why do you feel this way? chaotics can be more powerful than godswords, and chaotics weren't released until april 2010 where as godswords where released a few weeks after the date at which the server will be.

Because they don't have a special and make the thrill of fighting increased because they hit higher than the whip. What made it ridiculous in current rs, is you can have d claws or GSword or Korasi AND chaotics for a fight, which is way over powered. A chaotic is like a whip, but doesn't have a special.
