Hold on a second, all of u that STILL DECIDE TO WHINE ABOUT THE "NO" OPTION:

The point is NOT TO see how many want it and how many does not.

The point is to see how many want it. Mainly because IT DOES NOT AFFECT UR PRECIOUS EOC SERVER AND GAMEPLAY. The poll aint there to see how many ppl are against it, it's there to see how many ppl would actually want it back.

U can always play EOC server, no1 is taking it away from you. Stop being selfish, it's not only about YOU.

Both servers will stay, no point of adding no, as this decision dsnt take ANYTHING AWAY FROM YOU EOC PLAYERS. _ANYTHING_.

Or are you just afraid eoc will die because more ppl like 2007, or what?

"There was/is a Conspiracy between IVP & Jagex to Destroy as many Grandfathered 5$ a month membership rates as possible. Done prior to them bringing out this Vote for the 2007 servers

IVP & Jagex could have just as easily switched the game over to 2 sets of servers like they did with Runescape Classic but they did not do that because they did not want Veterans to renew memberships & pay only 5$ to play the game

IVP & Jagex want all members to pay the New monthly rates 8-10$ per month instead of the low 5$ One. Jagex could of run Pre EOC Servers & Eoc servers after November 19 2012 but they wouldn't"

because eoc isnt the only thing the majority of players that quit want to get rid of. Jagex is a buisness and it HAS to listen to its customers or it goes out of buisness. they posted their first lost in the history of the company due to all the people that quit last year, before the eoc was put in. frankly my dear, I couldn't give a dam. never had a river to build one on.

No I think whether this vote was 1 million or 50k it represents a significant portion of the paying player base. I feel more that these types of decisions are rushed and the entirety of the plan has yet to be figured out. I think a more complete plan with an understanding of the long term consequences of something like this needs to be established if it hasn't already.

I am not saying I have an ultimate plan for this because I do not. I leave that to Jagex seeing is how they are the professionals in the business. I think this decision is not one to be lightly taken because it does affect the part of the community that will stick with the main game. I also personally thin that tiers should not have been set beyond the initial 50k one. I think they should judge their business plan based on the demand they observe after say the first month of operating. Very similar to a test market situation.

On a side note:
It is also interesting that the same people attacking others and me are the same people who talk about "the community". Thinking that by going back to the past, raising age limits, or increasing prices will lead to a change in the community is absurd. The community has problems, like it has for a long time, because of how people interact with one another and a general lack of respect.

Most likely no one will even *** this post... but anyways... Jagex and staff: I beg of you, please reconsider which year you decide to make a server based on. Please from me and most players that left because of the change... consider making a poll to vote for which year is going to be used. Like I said, will most likely not be seen by anybody with any power whatsoever... But just maybe.

I think it would have been a lot more profitable to have done a Classic style transition while simultaneously raising the price. But hey, that's just me ;)

goldfarmers use players against jagex. the only reason we are talkin about 2007 servers commin back is because thats the era goldfarmers chose to use with their propaganda.

a ****** off lil ********* is more apt to cheat than someone who thinks this game is great.

this game is great. no one can argue otherwise.

how would goldfarmers get people to buy ac***** and gold if everyone was happy? Please take a few moments to observe the reality around you.
