I have a few suggestions that would make the 2007 a true remake and a great success.
1. 2007 Website;
It would be great if the server could have it's own dedicated website with the theme that it had back in the day. It can't be that hard to remake as a well known private server managed to do a complete replica of the old site. Imo, the old site was also less cluttered and easier to navigate. It would be much more convenient for the dedicated 2007 players who don't give two ***** about EOCscape.
2. 2007 Forums;
Just like point 1, I would like to see a replica of the 2007 forums. This is vitally important as a lot of bulk trading will be done by using the forums (no GE). Again, it will be much easier to navigate than having to go through the current forums.
3. Rares;
The rare items should be distributed as they were back in the day. This means only distributing them at holiday events.
4. XP rate;
This might be controversial but I think the xp rate should be increased to 1.5x the current xp rate. This will make it so it's not too much of a grind fest and not too easy.
5. Content updates;
It's a 2007 server and should remain the same as it was in 2007. I do not support any gameplay updates at all apart from holiday/temporary events. I do however support updates regarding graphical upgrades. Imagine 2013 graphics on a 2007 server! That would be amazing.
6. Player moderators more power.
Because the server will not get much attention from Jagex regarding bots, I think player moderators should have the ability to temp ban people for botting. This will have to be done in a strict manner and harsh punishments for any abuse of powers.
7. Free to play;
I think eventually, regardless of what the poll turns out to be, there should be free to play worlds. The f2p community was great fun in the old days.
8. Chat filter;
Add an option to remove the chat filter please!
