I think this is a very constructive and welcome initiative. It shows that you do care about the whole of the Runescape community.

I also like the idea of making it transparent beforehand, how many supporters you would need to consider different levels of investment in this initiative.

I have personally benefited a lot from the changes since August 2007, but would really welcome the opportunity to play the old version again, simply because the game as it is today has lost a bit of its original charm and flair.

RSC is dead, because there is no free content, as P2P PK in RSC is kinda cancerous too, getting 3 hitted with d axes is just too silly.
also the economy is dead as a rock because the game has less than 1k players and most of them are bots nowadays.

Lolwut, how does that make difference to people starting EoC? the difference between old school players and newcomers is even more enormous.
As no new player can compete with people with hunders of bills in rares and reagents, while it is still possible for new players to get into the game by grinding levels, also. theres hundreds of training spots in the game, maybe not in the free version of the game. But there's still many even there, cow killing phase does not last long, and as I recall in realscape, even chickens were crowded as hell for years.

Um, where did any of the official posts say that voting for 2007 required you to drop your social life, and train 24/7?

Second, the game isn't only 20+, so it's blind of you to make such statements.


A lot of the "memories" being posted seem to be of high lvl activities, i mean people talking of whips, what lvl slayer do you need for that then?

Thanks pal, means a lot to know that you took notice of what was said, I understand your value of what you just said and it makes perfect sense, But I'm saying it's going to be so hard to make money in when it's released from how packed everywhere is, Everything was transferred over when EOC came through so I do not see why it should be any different now? If this makes sense. Thanks <3

Regarding rares;

Would be nice to see Jagex bring the rares back by recreating the holiday events people had to do prior to 07 and give them out like that.

Although in theory they are technically not going to be rares if they give them out on mass when the server first comes out.
