I'd just like to point out a few OBVIOUS things here;
Firstly...They are bringing OLDSCHOOL 2007 back because it has been requested by the veterans of Runescape, Thus being the once upon a time thriving community of Runescape when it was all about communication and bartering of materials/items. There was no Grand Exchange you could just pop into and be off on your todd, You had to wait and find the right buyer/seller for the item which was once again linked with communication. COMMUNICATION is a community, Runescape doesn't have a comunity anymore, just little gambling clans here and there.
Secondly, Graphics...they might of not been the best but the items looked a lot more realistic than they do now, EOC isn't medieval at all now, It's like playing runescape/starwars or something, 2006 The dragon Scimitar, Wow what a look, now what does it look like? LOL Let's not get into that.
Thirdly, the game isn't forcing you to play, so all you people who don't like it, don't play it. you still have the same EOC as it's always been just you won't have many people to play it with because everyone will see sense and tackle the 2007 Era, Where magic DID happen, Where people were friendly with very little trolls, Where yes there were bots but they held a stable economy, look at any video ever made from 2007 or lower and look at the difference, the elegance to Runescape!! If you can't see this then I'm sorry but I do feel for you.
Fourthly, The combat/items issue, Yes it would be good to start from scratch but with all the money and items you own kept, other than that, like it was stated earlier by a previous player, If everyone is transferred as Level 3, the combat zones will be immensely packed, Even for a members world, It will be like playing in a Free to play, fighting for 3 kills in 20 mins if you're lucky. Maybe jagex you could decide on having a little exception for a few stats and DEFINITELY keeping the bank, I think it would be seriously unfair to take it away. Thx
