You have my vote however, what about the rares and many discontinued items? Will they be implemented into the new servers? Why must we start from level 3's?
I will still play regardless of a newly created account but, sounds a little rough starting everyone at 3 again.

There seems to be a lot of conjecture around the actual size of the playing community with a lot of people incorrectly assuming that the ‘concurrent player count* on the RuneScape website represents the total number of active players.
To clear up any confusion on this matter I want to confirm that our Unique Active Player stats for the proceeding 14 Days from Monday the 11th Feb was actually 8,229,459!

With this statement, all hope for the 2007 Runescape is gone. I say this because hope is no longer needed. 750k+ is as good as done. And to those saying well half of those are bots.........well there's obviously someone real controlling those bots and they obviously have just as much of a right to turn off their bot for a couple of seconds to vote as you or I, (not that I'm for botting or people who do it, that's def not what I'm saying) so let's just drop the hate, drop the selfishness, drop the ignorance and mistrust in your fellow RS community members, and band together as one and get this 2007scape on the role!!!!! WOOT!!! CANT WAIT!

Just as an additive note:

Those who prefer to stay in EoC, can stay in EoC with no harms done from the 2007 Servers. Voting "Yes" just to help out others will have NO EFFECT on those that want to stay on the EoC servers.

kinda feels like theres something off about this upcoming event for the reiteration of the classics. i mean its good and all but i can barley afford 7.95 a month let alone $10 a month.it seems like jagex is all about making money now and their in more for the money than the actual game its self. the only reason this is being considered is because jagex is loosing all of their current members and the company isnt bringing in enough new people to make up for the loss. the fact i go on f2p account and get level 10 mining and jagex makes a "dwarven army axe" sound like the best item in the game with a click here to subscribe to get it is just money hungry/taking advantage of other people that dont know any better. its ridiculous.

but ya, im all up for the 2007 version of runescape.
your going to keep loosing people if you keep doing what your doing jagex!

I just don't understand the logic behind a members-only vote.

You have so much support from old veterans who want to return to the game. You can see it on these pages. But you're not going to get the support of people who have left the game because of EOC, and old veterans if you're requiring that they have a subscription to vote. Nobody that wants the old server back will subscribe just to vote when they would be effectively wasting a month subscription logged off on EOC. It just makes no sense for either party. You're essentially saying "give me 7 dollars and this might work your way, but it still might not."
I'm not "committed to Runescape". I'm committed to a game that I enjoy. I would return to this game under three conditions, only two of which you control:
no more than $7 a month TOTAL
free to play remains free

Essentially, exactly the way it worked in 2007.

Old rs>New rs. but honestly this whole thing is just a scam for money. theyll make money off the people paying for member ship only to vote then turn around and pay another membership fee on a different sever. everything rs does evolves around money, the whole eoc was a bust so basically they're trying to make some money back with this update. honestly i think the membership fee should be lowered after a few months just because its less graphics and its already programed, all you have to do is maintain it. no way it should cost more than this new bs runescape. because its more simple graphics so it should be cheaper/easy to maintain. not like youre going to pour money into it with updates or anything...it is going to stay the same...

anyways ill be willing to start over, this coming from a guy with 20m exp in range and strength. 99 magic and hitpoints...ive had my good times on this account and ive made and lost great friends in this game. most i still talk to via social networking and so forth. im willing to start fresh and continue making memories. Iron Legion Pride. No D3f Str99. I miss Clan Pking with my bro's. all on ventrillo and ts, having a fun time. thats what runescape is about, having fun with people you don't know, but you can still say they were your Bro. A real Bro.

Sure to be more people on 2007 server than the ghost towns of EOC.
