As a former WoW player, despite the common misconception that I will automatically love EoC because it is like WoW, is beyond incorrect. Runescape was my first true online game that I played. A game that I shared enjoyment with thousands of others. In 2007, I was on a Mac (Despite how much I hate them, it's all I had). I could remember sitting there as the sun beamed outside, playing away. Why? Because it was fun. I loved the idea of leveling individual skills, rather than just leveling in general. While Jagex has been ******** up a LOT with EoC (Which I personally hate the idea of it; removed the uniqueness from the game), they are actually considering returning to the way that led their company to the high point it once was at. I say we take this opportunity, and lead it to the fullest. Good luck, and let's hope for a high amount of votes!

Lets not get distracted here, the future of RuneScape 07 has nothing to do with any FPS

I agree with the above comet. I too have played wow and my highest toon is only level 62... For a reason.

I personally loved the old style of Runscape and wish to see it back. Quite honestly, Runescape had its own unique style o combat that was awesome compared to its quite below average actionbar style it now has.

there was a time that there were over 200k players online at one time.
there was a time when there were 2 million paid members.
there was a time when they needed almost 150 servers and many were constantly full.

that time was 2007. compare that to now.

never more than a 100k online.
only about 1.3 million subscribers, many of which dont play.
they have only about 50 servers last time i look and few of them are half full.

worse, for the first time in its history, jagex posted a lost in revenue. frankly my dear, I couldn't give a dam. never had a river to build one on.

Kind of funny you say that, have you ready level 3 and 4? they are both the same membership you pay now, and I am sure that we well make at least level 3 with a breeze, level 4? It may seem a lot harder, but we can do it if we try, so just vote, every vote counts, even your one tiny vote out of 750k could easily be the difference whether we get our servers. So just try it, you pay 7.50$ now, or whatever your rate is where you live, and if it doesn't go through, then you don't have to keep paying for it. Even though, I do not think this will be the case.
