Anyway, I'm out. The very same blind nostalgia is pervading this discussion as happened with Wildy/FT, and we know how that worked out. There is no point in making an argument that will convince no one, and I'm thoroughly convinced that it doesn't matter whether I vote or not. Gerhard is set to try to take more money out of my pocket, cleverly disguised as "listening to the playerbase".
My last comment: Whatever happens, if you get your wish for those 2007 servers, AND it works out well and you enjoy the game again, great, I'm truly happy for you.
I myself will not pay extra for deluded nostalgic childrens' attempts to relive some bygone dream of the "glory days". I thoroughly enjoyed them at the time, and I enjoyed a lot that came after that too, including and up through oh, about 2009 or maybe 2010, until the resurgence in bots.
However, I'm currently paying a broken game, and I feel that is barely worth the admittedly low sub fee I pay right now. But I can't seem to let go. Another price hike might finally be the thing to do it.
