The friend who brought me to Runescape found it when he was browsing the net for online games, then he introduced us to the game (2005?).
The first thing that struck me was the crowd around the east bank in Varrock...skulled player after player running around, we didn't even know what the skull meant.
Lots of bots in the game but lots of chatty players too.
Some of us have gone on to get married, set up our own businesses, careers since then.
Its the memory of those times that has kept me on and off this game for so long I guess.
Maybe Runescape has had it's day, maybe we will never see as many players as it did once, no matter what.
For what it's worth, I'll get them to vote for this, and hope everything turns out well.
Personally, I do not like every update, and I don't think I'm meant to, but I do love Runescape and hope it stays on to be an even more successful game.
