Thank you jagex. you guys have my full support.

But as a veteran, as i've started playing this game in oct of 2004, i would like us to be able to carry our stats on to 2007 servers, or at least if possible, what i had at that time.

I understand all the newer players saying to earn it our stats and all, but skills take long to level, and we wouldn't have to have to start all over if things we're kept the way they were.

No?

are you people not afraid to lose players with this update?
there are players who's love the 2007 game but...
most off the people are using eoc now its here now for like 3 months.. most players are accustomed to it, so maybe they think like omg not another update of RuneScape. im not afraid for it most people i know on RuneScape will ove it including me
so cheer up guys and may the update be soon!!

Two issues that keep coming up are rares and account stats.

1. Starting at level 3 again will be a bit of a hassle.

2. There were rares back in 2007, leaving them out wouldn't be a wise move since they've been there so long anyway.

3. I think, if possible, we should retain the stats we had at the time in 2007. And rares should still be in.

4.Whoever had the rares at that time in 2007, would retain them.

This would work, in my honest opinion.

Hun, if I wanted to play a "cheap WOW-game", I can afford the "real thing".

I earned my stats too.. nearly ALL OF IT prior to September 2010 (when I walked away for over 2 years).

How could it be "old school", with some idiot bringing in stats they "earned" (rofl) in the last few years?

true...people have grown up and don't have the same amount of time they used to have to play...im all for the 2007 servers, but just don't see myself repeating the grind, Me and many others don't have that kind of time on their hands anymore...

to the people with the time great for you, wish you guys nothing but the best in your journey to recapture old memories..

Video games are a luxury. If you don't like one small thing stop crying because there are millions of people who never get a chance to even play a single minute. Deal with it :)

Some people would like to transfer all their stuff from normal RS to 07 RS. But think of how much LONGER it would take to get it up and running and how BORING (to me, and I'm sure some others agree) it would be to need to have the high stats transferred. You wouldn't feel the reward of the leveling, the danger in what used to be a safe path (like white wolf mountain- I was scared of it, then I leveled out of aggressive range of the wolves), the thrill of earning your first million. If you don't want all the things I jus* listed, then just continue playing the normal RS.

I'm not trying to start an arguement, I'm just stating my opinion.

Can't wait for the vote.

Rares were around back then...but people who had them to begin with played back then as well. If everyone is starting from a clean slate, no one would have any rares and all that. :| I'm a
