Well, most people have earned their stats in 5-6 years, so why start all over again?
Cuz jagex failed bigtime?

Any stats, bank, quests that you currently have will NOT be in the new servers. Just to clear that up, a few people keep asking.
Video games are a luxury. If you don't like one small thing stop crying because there are millions of people who never get a chance to even play a single minute. Deal with it :)

I agree with the statement that non-mems should be able to vote, since you have the ability to restore the game we enjoy you should also be able to see who has been with you through the years and just because we got tired of waiting for the game to get good again shouldn't mean we don't count. I ended my membership recently because I don't care for how the game has evolved, and unlike the 1.4 million who screamed bring back the wildy I appreciate the fact that some actually do enjoy how the game has evovled so I would not have jumped up if this option were to remove the current version but I do like the opportunity for a Runescape "not quite so classic" option. So if you care that is my vote, a yes for RS 2007. Sadly for those of us who have supported Jagex over the years you don't care and it is a shame you feel we don't deserve a vote but maybe the more I think about it my decision to leave is still valid, my voice wasn't heard before and its not going to be heard now, I no longer matter to you...

Whining about having to start over shouldn't even be a thought. I like that we're all going to be on equal grounds and starting a clean slate. Nobody can judge anybody, and the sole purpose is to have fun along with nostalgia and being back on a good game again.

I know personally I started getting carried away with my hiscores and wanting to compete. It was many long boring nights grinding but only because current RS got to the state of being so bad in my eyes that that is all I cared to do on there anymore. I became obsessed and power-hungry. That was really the complete opposite of who I used to be as an RS player.

When the game was actually still fun and innocent back in the day, not about the pixels, I played casually and for fun. I left my mark on current RS and that is good enough for me. I won't even finish getting my comp cape as I could care less now but I'll definitely finish my other goal I was working on before I say goodbye to it.

Two issues that keep coming up are rares and account stats.

1. Starting at level 3 again will be a bit of a hassle.

2. There were rares back in 2007, leaving them out wouldn't be a wise move since they've been there so long anyway.

3. I think, if possible, we should retain the stats we had at the time in 2007. And rares should still be in.

4.Whoever had the rares at that time in 2007, would retain them.
