What you are doing is sure to bring a lot of players back.

Personally I don't see the reason why not to vote. We have nothing to lose but a lot to gain and this update is sure to make a lot of people happy. I think even if you don't want to play on the 2007 server you should still vote that way the people that want to can. Like said on the FAQs page. Your vote just goes toward the contribution. They're not forcing you to play if you don't want to.

I also have a few questions of my own.

1: Jagex mentioned that if we get 250,000 votes they might implement the anti-bot software on to the 2007 server. If we don't reach that 250,000 goal would there still be the possibility of putting the anti-bot software on the servers if needed?

2: With Jagex mentioning the possibility of implementing the anti-bot software on to the 2007 server and we all know that didn't exist back then would there be the possibility of giving us right click reporting to make things a little easier for us?

3: I'm ranked in a friends chat. Will I keep my rank in that chat on the 2007 server or will the owner of the chat have to give me my rank back?

4: Will this be before or after free trade and wilderness was terminated?

5: Will all our the friends we have added now carry over to the 2007 server or will we have to re-add them again?

6: Will all the players we have on our ignore list carry over to the 2007 server or will we have to re-add them again?

7: Will the items that are going to be included with the 2007 server start out at the price they were when released in game or will they be set at the price they were during that time?

8: Will old school holiday events be release during the holidays? Maybe some old holiday events that we had from back them.

9: If we are starting fresh. Does that mean we will be able to experience tutorial island again?

10: Will we have dedicated forums for these servers or will we use the existing ones for it?

they must have finally noticed they lost 70% of their players in the last 2 years
i wonder why... stop doing stupid updates and ruining the game we all grew up to know and love. i for 1 will never renew my membership unless they completely got rid of the new bs rs and brought back 2007 classic, and legitamate classic servers and police it for bots and cheaters, other then that this game is going nowhere but downhill from now

because that post and many others (not just yours) were about ONLY removing eoc. frankly my dear, I couldn't give a dam. never had a river to build one on.

I also think it's stupid only members can vote for this, I don't like this runescape so I'm not playing it and won't become member and waste my money just to vote. I used to be members back in the days because I loved the game and would like to play that again. I understand that yall made the voting members so no people start making more accounts just to vote, but it's also kinda rude at the same time. It's like saying only the people who have money to pay for membership can vote and/or play the OLD version of runescape.
I'm impressed about the 58.000 votes there is already tho, because there is only 50.000-70.000 players online a day. But I know that you all also know that the 750.000 won't be reached, because a lot of people like me don't want pay membership just to vote.
I think it would be more fair to do this voting on basis of the total level of players. Like you need at least a total level of 500 to vote.
