Pikmin124: As much as I currently dislike Jagex after years of being their paying customer, I'd vote yes (if they were allowing former long-time members to vote!)

I want the players to get what they want, and to enjoy the game they want to enjoy.

Lf Renged: You won't be able to. They could have made the decision to copy all non-EoC resources and attributes from the new server back to the old ones (well, at least for anything that existed in August of 2007) but they didn't. They want everyone to start clean with a level 3 noob character again.

This is one of the many reasons I've come to dislike Jagex as a company. They repeatedly make business decisions that seem engineered to anger, and alienate their customers.

Well, fair enough, to each their own. I don't want to go through 7 years of effort to get back to where I was. Been there, done that. Definitely more than one way of looking at that issue.
