To people that think we'll get 750k votes or even 500k.

Open your eyes, we got over 100k in about a day that's because that's the majority of the players that want to play 2007Scape...

We barely have 140k right now. Jagex just made money from all the players that renewed there membership just to vote and they'll keep making more money from those same players when they play 2007Scape by paying like $12 or $20 dollars a month.

If we don't reach 500k+ votes, 2007Scape will die. Not a lot of people can keep paying $20 a month or even $12...

There's not 750,000 active members in a two week span!

I've been polling/requesting data from the worlds, various forums, and many other areas. To gather some information below.

They told us that 8,229,459 people where active in a two week span before this poll began. However what they forgot to inform you was that this is only accounts who have logged in within this time period. I'd like to go over a list of people who will affect this total value.

RWT - These people are Gold Farmers, who create mass accounts usually 5 through 50 accounts and then send them to perform various skills to raise millions-billions a day.

THROW AWAYS - Generating 1000's of accounts to perform various objectives such as Squeal of Fortune spins and then transferring the prizes over to a main profile. This can be seen in the Leaderboards where around 805,000 we have a player named "rgdfh5ydfhcv" who has 1155 experience which is +1 to the starting experience of 1154. Why is it that 1,000,000+ profiles have 0 experience gained.

BANNED / LOCKED / DELETED - They never mentioned anything relating to these accounts, but the leaderboard never lie. The leaderboard show roughly about 1.8 Million players actually it's gone down 20,000 about since yesterday now at currently 1,809,058 Players.

FREE MEMBERS - They come in a large mass and I've been recording data for awhile now to get results at 20% - 30% of the players are FREE based. It usually hovered near 23%-25%.

They don't have nearly enough member profiles to vote for this, I'm not currently a member, but I also will not pay for the current RuneScape. I want this old RuneScape and would rather the whole thing be a seperate payment system.

They went about this entire thing all wrong, provided inadequate information, misinformed the community, rushed the polling, and provided a voting system to undermine the actual results and attempt to prove that no one really wanted this update when that's in fact invalid.

We need 750K! or IT WONT WORK!

1000s of accounts starting fresh from lvl 3 damn its going to be busy..and all higher lvl monster will be bored with no one to fight Commander Zilyana pet drop! total of 2488 kills, 362 in hard mode.

Why not.... Just make the 2 games completely separate. Why would I pay $7 for a product I do not intend to use. Something needs to change QUICK or the 07 servers will die and you will have a handful of empty investments. We're not dumb, we know that $22 for a game that is and old version of the game that you literally only have to pay for server prices.

ok, so if you do the math of how much time is left on the voting, you will notice to achieve 250k total votes 400votes/hr(less than 7/minute) are needed.

Current estimates are that there are axp. 1,841,000 members using runescape (highscores page).
1,841,000 members @ £4.95 (monthly fee in uk) is an income of £9,112,950 or $14,139,653 per month. That's £109,355,400 or $169,675,836 per year! And Runescape wants extra money from us???

Bring back 2007 RuneScape for f2p players too. I'm not even joking, either Jagex are stupid asking for 750k votes from members or they're just trying to troll me again. I cancelled my subscription because they added EOC and ruined pures

To all of you who would vote no if it were possible, I must ask why. Jagex has assured us that this will not divert their resources from the main game (not even time devoted from their team, as they say they will higher a new team specifically for old RS), and there will be no obligation to play the old servers or even pay for the service if you do not wish to. Old RS servers will not affect you if you do not want them to. As such, the worst opinion you could justifiably have of this is ambivalence, in which case you should vote yes so that the rest of us have a chance to use this service at the lowest cost possible. There is absolutely no justification for being against this idea.

It will be interesting to play without the GE (I barely remember those days). However, GWD I think would be beneficial so that we have more bosses available to fight. If you could reintroduce that somehow that would be great.
