I think that this post from Mod Mark/MMG was absolutely inevitable, after all the hate EoC got from pkers everywhere, Jagex had to do Something!
In the words of RuneShark/Rune Shark, it'd be poor PR (Public Relations) to do so otherwise, where otherwise would be to ignore us, in fact "poor" would be an understatement in this dilemma, "terrible" would be more sound. If you can't be a pencil to write anyone's happiness, then try to be a nice eraser to remove someone's sadness.

That's awesome!
Few questions:
1. If a lot of players will be playing this, will it be updated like adding more skills, minigames, g.e., GWD, etc... Because in my opinion playing Runescape with all updates (except Solomon store, SOF and EOC) would be awesome.
2. Will there be hiscores?
3. Will it have a client?

i realy love it! the new servers are coming back :3
thanks fore this awesome change te be able to start from scratch!
and cant you guys also make something lika a donate thingy where you can donate moneys to get 1 spin on the squeel of fortune and 1 vote XD
but i pay now with phone begouse my mother dos not aprove of me using her credit card and with that it costs me 10 euros fore 1 month membership im realy worried how much it will cost me to pay fore eoc membership and pre eoc membership its not like i cant afford it but to pay 60% of my earnings to a game is a little bit much
any ways im realy happy that you guys put so much effort in the game and the community! i hope from the bottem of my heart that pre-eoc content will come out!
and as you can see in stead of the normal 58-67k players online its now 72500 players!
i hope i will be able to enjoy redoing all the quests and i will defenitly enjoy getting my 99 wootcutting and thieving back!
i hope every 1 has an awesome week just like me and please vote!!!!

I find the people complaining about 2007 servers hypocrites, they wanted 2006 servers, or let's say pre eoc servers and they'd pay and I quote " up to $15 dollars just to play 'OLD' Runescape "

Now most of these people are bitching about it?

It's seriously sad....
