As a long time player of Runescape, I would like to comment on this,

While the old nostalgia of RuneScape is good, and we all fondly remember it, isn't it for the best to keep the past in the past, where it belongs? I for one, enjoyed 2009 RuneScape the most, back when it was all peaceful, and there were not even close to as many scammers and trolls as there are now, don't you think it would be better to just offer players the option of playing wothout Evolution of combat? Many people enjoyed the old combat system much more, but they also want nothing to do woth this new EoC stuff. Jjst make an option to switch back to the old combat system, which Ic'm sure many of many fellow veterans will appreciate.

Also, get rid of SoF.

I honestly think you need to put rares into the game somehow, and make it somewhat relevant to the voting base. lets say 1 of each partyhat for every 750 voters, 1 of each h'ween mask and santa hat for every 500 voters and so on maybe not by those ratios but what ever you guys think is reasonable. in ways of introducing them into the game that will be difficult considering people will always be watching out so you might have to make the items just put in random accounts (1 maximum per person) and whoever gets one gets one. these might not be the best ideas especially my way of inserting them into the game, it's just a thought, but regardless there need to be rares in the game to make it an authentic "old school" RS feeling :)

Putting your accounts stats now into the new server would be a terrible idea. It would completely devalue skilling, and ruin the economy. The ways for training in the main game are so much more different and easier than the game back then. Starting over fresh is how it should be

I can't understand why people even want to transfer stats/banks...that would completely ruin economy, and again, remove the fun factor out of the game.

I saw some suggestions for increased XP rates. But no. We want RS as it once were. A game where you had to work your ass off for stats,quests,banks.

If you could transfer accounts, then people like me with high lvls would have too much of an advantage, and if xp rates would be bumped, people would quit sooner than later ...

I say no! Let us start from scratch! Together we will rebuild economy, and more importantly ... community!
