Old School RuneScape Anyone?

To hell with the EOC. It only benefits warriors and some non-combat skills. Thousands of players have either quit or ended their membership subscriptions because of the EOC overwriting the whole system and fracturing the gameplay we vets have learned and adjusted to. Prices have crashed. Productivity is down. The mini-games I used to attend are ghost towns. None of my friends are on anymore. None... and I have quite a Friends List.
I would surely like to get my magic to 99 but no, it's stuck on 97 because training it now is more difficult than it really ought to be. Slayed dragons, I did pre-EOC, with a staff and shield. Now I can choose either or with the guarantee of getting my rear end burned off by dragon fire. Too bad I can't equip a weapon AND shield. Nuuu it's got to be one or the other. Might as well use a weapon only since the Dragonfire Shield I got doesn't do jack squat anymore. I sure did like to cast the special attack. Can't do that anymore. Every day I logged into the game (before EoC) I had a plan, an agenda, something to do for an hour or the whole day. Now since all this happened I log in and find myself staring into space within minutes.
Can't kill anything without getting killed first. Weapons system is weird. Runes have crashed. Various armors have had their bonuses cut into fractions.
Servers featuring the RS I learned about would be a breath of fresh air. The old tutorial island where we learned how to use all controls, bake bread, fish for shrimp and kill rats with primitive gear. I adapted to that one in a heartbeat. I would stay on for 14 hours straight training and socializing. Weird graphics but hey, it was fun.
Ask a gamer. Any real gamer (and yes, I play more games than this
). Better graphics don't make a better game. Overwriting RS with this EoC was a bad move for many. I made tons of friends on 'Scape pre-EoC. Now they're all gone. Check your Face Book comments sometime. Most people beg for the old one back.

jagex broke my heart on valentines day why not rs2011 before eoc?
