Hi MOD MMG and other JAGEX staff....

It nice your allowing a vote, but why not just make all players happy at the same time??

Change EOC combat style to new EOC weapons with those specials...and allow in the tools a toggle off on for those whom wish to fight monsters via weaknesses, but if you have eoc on you get an added bonus xp for killing monsters?? If you do normal slash and bash 2007 style you get only normal xp...This would allow players to choose which way they want to train and still allow new players to enjoy the eoc styles.

To be honest hit a spider with my fist and almost dieing sucks...although if you do use some of the mage stuff instead you can kill the spider...lol

I will vote probably for 2007 because many of my friends have quit because of it, even though I think it does have some cool features like richocet and healing affects.

agreed it will be alot harder jagex to do this but you will max out you're profits

Well, now I want to change my previous comment about this from earlier. I am excited about the whole 2007 rs coming back and all because of wild and free trade, but I just don't like the fact about getting lots of votes and what if we don't get the votes that is for free-- like Level 3 & 4. I wouldn't want to pay that much money. I mean why not have those who pay the membership, get the server for free. Also, when I re-read the questions and answers part about getting on the server, there was an answer about players stats are starting a fresh new start. Why can't it be just like the pre-trial of Combat Beta, where you can make a carbon copy of your stats from the main game and have it save some how when you get on it again. It's not fair for those who pay for membership to start all over again for their stats, just for a separate server, when some of us played in 2007. 2007 players still play today and want to go back and remember how it was and they can't play because of not enough votes and have to pay more. It's kinda not fair. But, I do miss the good ol' days and want to refer back to how it was. But, I would still support this because of good old wild days and no GE. I mean as long as it doesn't affect your actual main game runescape I'm cool with it. Oh yeah, question, Will Jagex ever have players that play now, open up the runescape Classics again for those who played after the RS CLASSICS era, just to get the classic cape?!? I like the classic cape and I would like to try the very old runescape classic since I didn't get a chance to. I would love that too =) I do miss the old emotes too and the prayer book hehe =)

Really hope this gets implemented, not a fan of EoC at all, I miss old pking :(

Will our accounts be rolled back to what they were in 2007? (if you had your account then) or will all stats start at 1?

Also was the grand exchange around then? I can't remember that long ago lol.

Agreed. Based on my theory pasted below (related to RSC servers), Jagex is on Step 1:

1) Jagex makes server, similar to RSC, stating there will be NO updates.
2) Nostalgic people go to these servers.
3) No GE = Item prices rise/can be manipulated.
4) Gold Farmers/other bots know of this, they go on those servers to bot and sell their rsgp.
5) Nostalgic people return on the forums and whine about bots and ask for Bot Nuke.
6) Bot Nuke = Server Update. Jagex said there will be NO updates when launching these servers.
7) People spam the forums whining and flaming that "Jagex doesn't care about their community. They are making money off these bots."
8) We're back where we started.
9) Jagex closes these servers
10) Only a handful players are left on these servers.

RSC Servers:

People whined
Jagex made them
Bots went there
People whined
Jagex banned bots
People whined for bot nuke
Jagex closed those servers and only opened them from time to time.
Hardly anybody goes on that server anymore.
Jagex is losing money/resources by keeping these servers up.
