There is absolutely no reason to vote no, your game won't be adversely affected and it will make what appears to be the majority of the players happy and will likely entice others who left to return. Where is the downside?

I've been offline on Runescape pretty much a few weeks after the initial EOC release and had zero intention to return to this game.

HOWEVER, After I returned from work this evening I received several messages from friends informing me of this update and I logged on as soon as possible!

PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE put this update into action! I can't express enough on how much I would love to go back to how things were a few years ago!

So much is true. The number of players on line, typically 50k to 100k, is much smaller than the number of players. That's obvious. Players (except bots) aren't constantly logged on.

Foul. That includes the 50k to 100k new member bots created every day. It includes free players.

Unless a lot more players buy memberships, 750k votes cannot be reached.

Don't spam this thread, people... Thank you so much Jagex, I really love that you are doing this. Its restored my faith in Jagex as a company, to be honest. I feel more inclined to play EoC now that you are doing this. I plan on voting YES and I plan on playing both versions of the game. Probably fluctuating between which I will play more. For instance, while waiting for the new skill and such I'll probably spend more time on the 2007 server, just as an example. Thank you Jagex :)

I still feel as if I should be able to have my stats from August 2007 as well since I have played since 2004. Also all accounts active during the 2007 era should be given a token of gratitude for being long term players. Maybe that could be a way to implement "rares"




How do you expect them to give you your 2007 stats? They have the server back up for 2007, they would in no way have your character stats from 2007, it would take up far too much hdd space to make and keep so many character saves and for so long a period of time.

If you are going to make requests, please make them reasonable requests.

It is a back up, I am pretty sure all accounts to that date are included in the backup. Also text files for a character stats probably take nearly no space up, especially considering they most likely have several TB's of space available. Remember this is Java here, not some crazy engine that takes a lot of resources, as well as stats are just a number change, nothing major.

I agree.. The armor is ridiculous... One can only ask... The fk was the graphic designer drinking to create such monstrosities.. I can't even tell what armor I'm wearing half the time...I'm 50/50 on u on the rest... I want old RS back but I kinda want the claws as well lol...
