@JasOfHearts:
"This is the wrong thing for Jagex to do.
1. EOC already made the game lose players.
2. Now with another drastic change the game will lose an additional.
3. The fee of the game will go up - because they need to hire more people.
4. Two versions being worked on and both versions will be mediocre instead of one being awesome.
5. Get out your pay checks because the game that you all were complaining about is going to cost more money due to additional staff.
6. Can you really take a dead horse and liven it up again? Are you serious?"
====================================
1. How would this have anything to do with Jagex releasing an older version of the game, which won't have any direct effects on the current game? The EoC didn't cause as many people to quit as you might think.
2. This isn't a change, this is an addition. Nothing is changing - an older version is being added to the game and will be SEPARATE from the current game.
3. If people want to pay for the older version, they can. If you don't, then don't. If the additional fees apply, they will only apply to the older version of the game.
4. Jagex is not taking anything away from the current game - no staff or updates. As you said earlier, they are hiring more staff, not moving staff.
5. Again, if people want to pay they can pay. But those who do not want to pay don't have to pay.
6. The horse never died, it was killed. They aren't trying to bring anything back to life, rather make it available to people who want it (as a lot of people have shown interest in this subject).
Now that I have proven all your points wrong, I'm going to make some tea.
Best wishes,
Cole
