If you are so against it, just don't vote. If you want to stick with the EoC, than stick with it. No one is making you vote, and no one will be making you play it. I have been an avid player for quite some years now, and I think that this is a smooth move by Jagex (though they could have taken it to a later year like 08' or 09'). It said that the old servers will be an option, not the only version. You either need to read a little clearer or stop being so selfish to all of those that have been fighting for this back since the EoC came out.
When they had the beta for the new combat system, there were very few that actually played it, and most of whom that played it more than once, were just trying to get a head start on getting used to it. The other half of people hated it. I happen to be one who disagrees with it fully, though I understand why they updated it. Everything in the game went south after the update.
So again, stop being selfish and allow the people that have been fighting for it, to keep doing what they do best.
