One thing that I really miss is the old combat calculator, it makes much more sense than the new one which only requires 2 99's while the old one required you to be maxed in combat, the new combat calc system leaves many players with no hybrid potential while the real maxed players destroy them in almost all hybrid settings, I hope you reply to this comment or even read it.
I hear some say that Pures is merely a diversion of the game, and it doesn't belong in it. Are you kidding me? i've played since 2004 and ALL i've done is PKING, its the part of the game that i liked, and always will, the most. Im pretty sure that there is others like me. Should we just be completely be overlooked?
Hey, don't know if a J Mod will read this or *** but I hope they will!
When the EoC beta first came out I was horrified. I found it clunky and difficult, and very unlike Runescape. All through the beta I dreaded the day it was officially released. But that day came. I gave it a chance, something I had never really given it before. And y'know what? I actually really enjoy it. Yes, it was probbably released too early and there was a lot of bugs that needed to be fixed, but it kinda makes a 2D game feel more 3D... I would like to say Thank You, and apologize to all the members of Jagex, for my lack of support and hostility towards the subject. I am not saying you are always right (no one is, we are all human, no ones perfect, Im far from it!) but I shouldve stuck by you.
Another topic is the SoF and SGS. Again, when buyable spins and SGS (in general) came out I was, to be honest, quite disgusted. The fact that certain aspects of the game were unavailabe (SGS) to all players and skills were technically buyable with a credit card pained me. While I still can't say Im 100% behind SoF and ***, I think of it as more of a positive in that the money will fuel more bigger (and better!) updates! I would like to add though that I think there should be a way to earn runecoins in-game. There are some really cool things in the SGS and I think it would be nice for all players to be able to use them, no matter what their financial status is. It would be great to see (even very small amounts) of runecoins as drops from the rare drop table or various monsters, and be available as a drop from skilling. I feel that even if this was a small amount (so if people wanted BIG things quickly they could pay extra) would mean a lot less people would complain. Im happier that SoF spins can be obtained more easily now (challenges, higher % drop from skilling) but it would be nice if challenges (not daily ones) could be done and you would still receive a spin.
Will anything be done to make Dragon Armour more useful again in the future?
I mean since the January 14th update the usefulness of the armour has plummeted right into the ground for higher level players.
Just seems such a shame to let it go to waste after all the fantastic lore and quests developed around it and with the Dragonkin story arc just beginning with ROTM.
Not to mention that the kiteshield and dragonbone kits being dropped by boss aimed at very high level players.
Would be nice if Dragon Armour could become suitably epic again, maybe some future quest allowing the player to have a friendly Dragonkin "empower" the Dragon armour!
I think a better idea would be to group skills into categories. For example, having 99 attack, strength, defence, hp, magic and range would give a player the 'Minor combat skillcape', while having 99 summoning and prayer (based on the old combat system ofc) would give them a 'Major combat skillcape'. Do it with things like artisans, gathers and so on.
Mod Mmg
Yes, but it will be a great graphical, audio and performance upgrade rather than a new game so that we don’t undermine players existing game time.

*Shiver goes up spin*
Holy cow!!! I can't wait!!! Its updates like the RSC to RS2****-HD, EoC, HTML5 and RS3 that keep me around.
Hey!
Mod Mmg, could take a look at my thread? Would love to hear your opinion!

Thread has been there for almost 1,5 years and lots of support. ^^
Looks to me like you collected the major reasons people were upset with the game and made brief, generalized responses to them that neither fix anything nor promise a specific fix, hoping to appease us and either bring us back or keep us playing.

Make the changes and I'll be back. Don't, and I won't.
