Thank you Yleprincess.

Edit; Fear is the only real reason I can see for these pro-EoC players to object to separate servers. That is also likely the reason Jagex flat refuses to release pre-EoC servers, they know they will be more popular and populated than the EoC servers thereby proving once and for all what version is preferred.

"Just ignore D Mihawk. He is just an ignorant troll, he never has anything of value to add to the conversation and only trolls those that disagree with him but never with any substance.

I really don't think he is capable of explaining why he likes EoC or in any way defend his stance and regardless of how well or poorly otherss disagree with him all he ever does is insult them and tell them they are wrong without giving any reasons for his beliefs. "

^^^^^ all the makings for a Jagex mod then :P

I've been a part of Runescape since my early childhood, in the early 2002 era my adventures of Runescape began. I loved the game for how it was, it was so unique and different from ANY other game. Over the years, I have seen updates coming more and more. Sadly to say, I haven't been satisfied with the way the game has been changing throughout the years. I can honestly say the ending of 2006 was the ending of Runescape as we knew it, myself, and many others refer to the ending of 2006 and before "The Golden Days" of Runescape. I for one can honestly say I'd do anything possible to be able to play that game that I once loved dearly back in the day, which is why I'd like to announce that with everything you at Jagex have done, you have changed and got my addiction from the game gone. In fact, the game no longer is appealing to me in any slight type of way especially after the EoC release. Why it was released, we'll all never know...during the beta stage, you'd not even see 1k+ players actually playing the EoC. With this being said, after the EoC's release...I entirely quit and went searching for the game I loved with a passion and have come across quite a bit of private server's which greatly resemble how Runescape once was. As much as I hate private server's, I can honestly say it is in fact more enjoyable then Runescape has been in quite some time. I love the feel of the old interfaces, the old graphics, the old-school look in general. It was what made Runescape, well Runescape....I am not too sure if you guys have seen ChrisArchie's or SoWreck3d's video's based on how people have left Runescape and been playing private server's but I'd highly recommend you at Jagex to review them as that's where all your players have gone, and will keep going until you actually give us what we are wanting. In fact, I wouldn't even be here on the forums today if it wasn't for my friend telling me the possibility of the old RS may be returning because of the video's.

Just read Mod Gerhard's "2013: What's Coming and What's Going"
Generic how it started of with a quote. It definitely did reassure me when I read " we will continue to refine the EoC for you. We have a team of developers dedicated to listening to your feedback and making the on-going improvements required."
It did make me feel like there is hope that EoC will have more changes and hopefully only improve in time.

I loved the fact that before I could be doing a slayer task and I could afk and wait for my spec bar to reach 100% and use it and do it all over again while watching my TV or even eating. I have read several threads on the forums about getting a separate server for EoC and also getting rid of it all together. And I do understanding that letting EoC has 4% chance maximum because it sure must of took a lot time/work on building something that affects the game widely.

I got rid of my membership due to EoC, not straight away though. I did give it a chance and I don't feel like I should force myself to like and continue doing an aspect of the game when I did not have to before!
I will be checking the website weekly to read any news about the EoC but I won't be playing the client.

I can promise you, once EoC is sorted (separate server, pleasee!) as soon as possible I will be so quick to re-buy my monthly membership and carry on with my Runescape goals, which I did leave due to EoC.

I really do have more faith since reading Mod Gerhard's post and as for now, I can only hope that things will only change for the better. :P

With my above statement being said...I'd like Jagex as a whole to know that I do have 10+ created accounts on Runescape (all of different character classes) and all of which were typically members recurring monthly up until you continued to make these lame changes to ruin the game as we all loved it. I wouldn't care to restart, I wouldn't care if EoC stays, I wouldn't care to be a "noob" once again, but want to know what I would care about? I'd care about nothing more then to seeing the old Runescape return right here to runescape itself, because quite frankly...even the private servers cant match with the game you once had. Although, I will still be sticking to private servers until you guys actually realize your mistakes and actually give us (THE ENTIRE COMMUNITY) what is long over-due...the original RS2 from 2006 and below, that we all loved. If it happens to be released, that is when in fact I will once again get back involved with the actual Runescape community as well as return to making videos to promote Runescape, until then I will continue making my private server video's and sticking to p server's in general. I really hope you at Jagex sincerely realize the wrong you have done, and do actually return the game we all loved. Until then, don't expect to have a larger playerbase, but only expect to continue losing your players as sad as it is to say... :(

@Smurfyski

I suspect IVP is already planning to pull out soon. I think that was what was with the push for year long subscriptions, to get one nice little exit nest egg before they pull out and leave Jagex struggling.

Oh, by the way, don't believe the bs MMG was trying to sell us about how IVP hasn't been pulling dividends from Jagex this whole time nor how he says they haven't been enforcing their control over thee company ever since they bought controlling interest in Jagex either. Anybody that knows anything about big business and private equity firms knows better than to believe the bs. Private equity firms aren't charity coordinators after all, they are all about the money and maximizing profits, you don't do either of those things by buying controlling interest and not using it or pulling dividends.
