Bots & Gold Farmers:
its great to hear this will come into full effect soon.but in the meantime,try sending 1 *-mod to hope around to places like the mining guild to clear out as many as they can.
Micro-payments:"They allowed us to double the size of RuneScape’s team and keep up the near-weekly game updates"
frankly,id rather there be fewer updates than for you to corupt the integrity and values of jagex.and tbh,the quality of these new updates are severly lacking.
so just remove your rwit options,fire those that worked on poorly recived updates to thin out your staff,and take your time develiping future updates to inshure there quality.
Promotions:

quality updates trump promotions.make good updates and you wont need any to keep player playing.
also all the gamecard promotion items should be added to the loyalty shop shortly after the promotions run.
Evolution of Combat:
"overall I’m proud of the updated combat system and truly believe it's a change for the better in the long run."
wrong,its a terible system. poorly concived and poorly exicuted.
remove it and start over again,baseing it more off the old system. for instance,improve armour absorbtion instead of adding lifepoints to armour.have weapon types have there own set of specials,with higher tiers haveing beter specs.and use of specs draining your run energy.instead of a unified ability system wich spamming smaller abilitys gives you MORE energy.+much more
