This is a good start, Jagex. I know that you have really stepped up your PR in the last few years, but it's nice to finally see you admitting some fault. Although a business won't lose much of my respect for making mistakes, it can definitely earn a lot of respect by owning up to them. I hope you will follow through with the promises you made here because I'm fairly certain that players will be quoting this post for at least the next 12 months.

My only grief right now is that there has been minimal response to the gambling issue that plagues the game. I can't help but compare the community's general disdain for gambling to the luring issue from several years ago. Luring remained unaddressed by the company for a long time, but you eventually banned the activity and even implemented a game mechanic to prevent it (the Wilderness ditch). I trust that you will eventually say or do something about this before it gets any worse.

Bosses should have more abilities so that they're not geared around the old combat system and thereby less-challenging. In other words make 'em harder!

I wish the EoC haters will stop acting like they speak for everyone, or stop claiming made up stats like "half players didn't want it".

Nothing wrong with saying what you don't like after you give it a try, but don't use unsubstantiated "calls to the masses".

The platitudes are amazing: "Oh we listen to you guys", even though supporters of the EOC have said that there are multiple issues with it, the bots literally are still plaguing every world, and you guys lost untold thousands because you ramrodded your botched attempt at becoming the average MMO. Face it, the managers and the vast majority of developers of Jagex would rather try to appease a dying player base with shallow updates, instead of trying to fix the combat system that separated RS from the legions of nameless rpgs out there. You guys killed your own game like you did in 07 by killing the wilderness, and just to let you know the player count isn't going up it's going down lol 108k players as the most I've ever seen. Congrats Scamex you slaughtered your own game.
