Dear Mod Mark,

I have played Runescape Since 2006 and still love the game. However, if you wish for the older players who DO NOT like the EoC (I know this is a very common request, but) you should open servers that are Pre-EoC. More Players would start the game and be able to play either and choose what they like most, and the older players would come back. :) It's a Win-Win!

It was kind of disbelieving to see you guys apologize for your past mistakes and ignores of the massive Runescape community. Thats good, and definitely a first step.
The thing is, you put in the E.O.C without listening to most players feedback. Sure, you've worked on it for a VERY LONG TIME, but was it actually that good? It toiok away the old feel of Runescape...no special attacks..pking not fun, and pvming not thrilling or challenging anymore. The Graphics dont even feel like Runescape anymore. People LOVED Runescape because of its originality. Its like Halo. Bungie put in love to the game, the inspiring campaign, the moody music, the fantastic graphics. Runescape was like that. I hate to say it but it feels like Runescape is becoming...LOL...its hard to explain, but it feels like everything is kind of trying to be like them...so what if LOL is a majorly played game? People love Runescape. I had a account from 2002 and i was with the community since it started. I remembered your hard work. I remembered the Santa hats falling down randomly. Back then, it was cool.
You see, hundreds of thousands of RS players quit. Its because the jagex team KEPT ON issuing updates..continuously and EVERY WEEK! AND THE COMMUNITY DIDNT LIKE IT. Its like you dont care about us. What happens to the veterans? WE PAY WE SAY. Im sure you've heard of it. Its true.
Micro payments helped develop the Runescape teams members and will support future updates, and the future of Runescape itself. However, we never asked for these kind of updates. You should be involved with the community more, and if thats what your aiming to do in 2013, well love you. But seriously, micro payments like Runescapes Premium club? I almost smashed my computer when i saw that.

I REALLY LOVED IT WHEN JAGEX POSTED THE ALL OUT VOTE FOR THE RETURN OF WILDERNESS. YOU SEE, I HOPE IT HAPPENS WITH E.O.C.
MAYBE ONE DAY YOU WILL CONSIDER DOING SO, AND NOT SURPRISINGLY, YOU MIGHT FIND THOUSANDS OF PLAYERS VOTIN

What should come is the reinstatement of Prayer at 100% damage reduction or high-level prayers that can provide the old 100% protection rate instead of the current subpar 50% rate. What should go are the Prayer and ability nerfs. Down with all these so-called updates that just ruin the game instead of improve it!

All of the things you said are fine and dandy MMG but you just think you're too good to go back to your roots. You neglected RSC 10x more than you've neglected your RS2 players.. And when a plants roots die due to not taking care of it, the plant goes soon after.

Let me just give you a few examples:

Bank glitch caused RSC players to not be able to play for WEEKS, because you guys couldn't make a phone call and reboot a server (or possibly walk into the other room).

You let bots roam RSC, it's infested. Nobody is scared to bot on RSC. Because everyone knows you as CEO do not care about RSC because it doesn't make you much money.

You couldn't even rid a player that was destroying the game with the HELP of a JAGEX MODERATOR. A player that has FLOODED the economy with gold and items, ill gotten WITH THE HELP of one of YOUR workers. We tried to contact you. We reported. We gave you names. The ONLY GOD DAMN RESPONSE WE GOT was "We have forwarded it to the relevant people". Yet this player is STILL selling the items for real money, and is STILL here, after SIX MONTHS of waiting for you ****** to do something.

You closed us off. Shut down our supposed to be regular re-opens. You left us for dead.

You guys do what you want with RS2. RS2 is long gone for me. But soon, if you keep neglecting the game that GOT YOU THIS FAR, then I'll be gone too. And so will many other loyal players that have played 10+ years and is honorable enough to stick with the game they love.

You, MMG, and the company under you, Jagex, have failed to impress me with anything you've done in the past five years.

So, you want to make me happy? You pay more attention to a game that's STILL labled a Jagex game, or you sell it to someone who will care about it. The game is dying in your hands.

And until you have more respect for your past, **** you Jagex.

My final day is coming soon, even for the original game I love.

hello every one !

It's sad to me to see a such great game down the drain.

eoc , sof , Lp = bad idea . o wait a minute we all ready know this
but for some reason it's still there .

wait for it ! if jadex took out eoc , sof , and the Lp
they would be admiting they messed up .

I do know one thing eoc has messed up slayer for me!
who know rs mite go on to be the best game on the internet.
from the looks of it thats not going happen any time soon

Yea, you see, the old players like me constantly come back and check RS news every now and then. We still hope...that someday...things will change. We havnt given up hope yet, and we wont.

I have another example on your carelessness of the community. I was watching an update log on your official youtube channel. One of the comments said: **** EOC
Whats surprising is, Jagex replied and said: Bye.

You see? its just stupid. Pathetic. Indescribable. I hope you make redeems for that.
It might not even be surprising for workers at jagex to get hurt. Its only a matter of time. Theres A LOT of threats and proofs on the net.

Heard of rs2006.net? ofcourse, you shut it down. Wanna know why it had 400k players registered? because people were so happy..so glad...that this was happening. Until you shut it down. Yea, we were ready to quit Runescape, and enter the world of rs2006.

Everytime i go to runescape, it only shows 80k people online...it used to be 300k...how did it even happen? Maybe you should stop caring about money, and start caring about the community.

we would gladly do so if e.o.c would vanish off the face of earth.
Originality is the best.
Played since 2002, quited 2012, december.

ONE MORE THING JAGEX: Runescape like other great games such as HALO, is going down hill. Wanna know why? 343 doesnt listen to the Halo community. Is it a coincidence that 7 million Halo discs but the peak of players online at one time was only 150k? now being 70k? no. Its a pathetic excuse of the original Halo
Make us wait more jagex, and more and more people are going to give up and cry. YES, CRY.
The british are notorious for greed. Does that apply to jagex?
I dont want to insult Mod mark, but seeing him just ****** me off.
But again, people like me will always wait. ALWAYS. Untill the return of the original Runescape. But others might not.
Be original again. Please.
