There are actually private servers set up for players wanting the same things as you. I personally don't support them: as I would MUCH rather Jagex take the proper initiative to please their long term players as well as my personal view in those games being a sort of trespass to the inventors of Runescape.

I Agree with and RWT from Runescape to it's players. This both shows players (by example) that RWT is fine. It also pushes RWT and even some of my friends RWT here and there now.

I don't believe it is a fair advantage, and that by definition is fraudulent... haha, I'm not sure I'd take it that far though.

At any rate, it does destroy ALOT of the long term investments by the Long term players and I find it very disappointing and sometimes upsetting.

It does put more money in Runescape's pockets for 'now' though and they need it, because they've lost ALOT more players once again lol. Not too long ago there was a better Player to bot ratio and roughly 200k players on line whenever I was on.

Now there are enormous amounts of bots in specific areas and they've spread into things like KBD farming ect... Also there are less players as the counts are roughly 65k players. (Yes I know this peaks, but it used to peak outside of the average as well).

I hope they will put an END to making it so much easier to obtain the long term goals ventured by older players, merely to increase their 'new' clientele.

I am not one of the people who are spamming and advertising, but instead of me wasting my time typing a message you guys at Jagex may or may not see, please take the time for someone that works for Jagex to see this video. It was published by SoWreck3d and I feel he speaks the minds of most RS players. Thank you if you actually go and check it out. Please do. :)

It is the most recent of his videos, and it is titled: "Mark Gerhard admits EoC was a mistake - What now? - RuneScape"

It is not flaming Jagex, but it is explaining what he feels, and I think it is the best EoC video out there.

Mod mmg - I'm happy to see you are seeing the community is speaking - but here is a huge chuck of players still not happy. you went from a huge game with 200k players a day and now ur from a small game, just starting out to 80k a day. if that. You really need to reconsider the EOC, SOF,Dicing,Flower,SOLOMONS GENERAL STORE. we don't care about the graphics. because look at minecraft. its blocky, and has 2mill likes while ur sitting here with 1m likes, nothing wrong with that, but im not happy with you no more jagex, i remember when i can just cant wait to get on runescape. now i cant bare too even login. Plaese make a poll on eoc, YOU WILL SEE NOBODY WANTS IT!

From what I have seen and read on the Runescape home page since the EOC update, Jagex has DESTROYED the concept of Runescape.

Even before the EOC update. I worked very hard and got all my non-combat skills to 99, combats to 92-95 ish. Now it seems Jagex is just "Throwing" exp everwhere. Runespawn ??? What where you all thinking. Anyway... back on topic..

Myself, I Quit playing at EOC. It was the Final Straw. Not to mention after each of the last 3 updates prior to EOC, I was locked out of Runescape due to Video Issues CAUSED by Jagex and the updates.

For those of us that ENJOYED the game and just wanted to play. You can make us happy if you would just allow us to opt out of EOC. Non Player Killer Worlds would just be a BONUS.

Yes it is an Old wound, but it is a sore spot for several of us who want to work in the wildy without "Thieves" interfearing with our game play. And no, I don't need thousands of responses from the player killers. I just want to give you my opinion.

I am now approaching 80 days Runescape Free. And I DO NOT see me returning anytime in the near future. (My homepage is still set to Runescape.)

I do miss the game very much. But I see no sense in returning while there is no way to opt out of the EOC.

I had a thought, yes you might be proud.
--- Remember the Coke / New Coke thing. If I wanted a Pepsi I would purchase a Pepsi. I want a COKE !!!.
--- Runescape vs WOW... It's the same thing... If we wanted to play WOW we would. But Just as we want Old Coke (Not Classic), WE want Runescape not WOW...

On a positive note: After EOC & my cancellation of my membership, the billing dept did add an additional 2 weeks to my membership prior to it expiring. I did not return, but it was a very nice gesture on the part of Jagex.
