I am surprised that this kind of announcement was actually made,and I congratulate Jagex for doing it. I am happy that you addressed some of the most unpopular things such as SGS and the SOF. I they are necessary then by all means keep them in the game. It's not like we can stop you. But please stop cramming updates for them down our throats every other day. The vast majority of the updates in the past week have been for them, announcing things as small as a new pet! If you have nothing else to say, please don't try to fill it with SGS and SOF. At least that way I can pretend it doesn't exist.

Mod MMG/Jagex:

I know in the past you took a huge aim at banning a bunch of the bots in-game but they are always finding new ways to create new accounts and get around they bans. Are you working on new systems to better detect these bots and instantly ban them? Do you have any update on how many bots you are banning on average? The bots really are killing the game but hurting the Runescape Economy, making it hard for 'real' players to level and make money and just ruining the gaming experience for everyone. What are you doing about this and what are the plans for the future regarding this issue?

Let's face it, the SoF is here to stay. As long as Jagex uses the money to improve the game and not to line their executive's pockets, I'm perfectly fine with it. The chances of winning anything substantial on there are infinitesimally small anyway. I was referring to player-controlled gambling such as flower and seal games (and to the people who legitimately host these games without scamming or selling gold, I apologize, but I've heard stories of some prominent hosts paying for rent, college education, etc. by selling RSGP, so yeah.)

Get rid of all forms of gambling (client chats (Swiftkit channels) are pretty much out of your hands), bots, and make monthly updates instead of weekly. I don't count fixing bugs/glitches as updates. Now a quest or the other hand, yes. RuneScape is unique; it can not be updated with content for a view months and still be a fine tuned machine. I don't want new content coming in every week; I can't get used to the old 'new' content before new 'new' content comes forth.

First time on Forums since the EOC. I played Runescape for about 4 years? And in my honest opinion i enjoyed training as a noob and playing the PVP runescape in 2008-2009 Bounty Hunter. The wilderness. I enjoyed Pking with my clan mates and having huge Mini's in clan wars, Hybridding every time i got on, making Pking Videos, Having a Maxed Hybrid Pure, Zerker. But EOC changed the game, it ruined the whole point of me playing and that's Pking/ Clanning / Making money having fun. Now that EOC came out i can finally say I QUIT this game with many reasons. Its been fun and a great run. Even though they said Jagex are getting rid of bots, that's the funny thing. Jagex will lose money than. Who knows what will happen to Runescape. but i know many old players like me as Quit and new ones probably came in. R I P Runescape 2008-2012.

Jagex this is a good newspost. Cheers to recognizing your biggest flaw, a simple lack of communication.

I am happy to say I have definitely noticed more communication this month, especially in the clan leader forum, where Jmods have been talking directly with players about issues, and striving to come up with solutions.

Keep up the communication, and you will keep your players.

Replying to your EOC post, I've got some stuff to say that alot of people will agree with.
I know you all are trying to make the best for everyone, but everyone cannot be satisfied. There are so many sad features of EOC. Like for instance, Pure Killers, have no armor to wear at a lower combat lvl like we used too. There are a lot of other little things that have destroyed my game play and I dont play anymore in the game (like do quests or anything) except pay, SADLY, 5 bucks a month hoping ya'll will change it back to normal.
So I suggest a solution:: create worlds that use EOC and worlds that have normal fighting, like you did for World Wilderness Killing and Bounty Hunter.

Then you will see how many people really enjoy this EOC update by monitoring the people who are on those worlds.
Ya'll even knew how crappy the EOC beta worlds populations were. They were less than 100 in each after yall banned the party hats, and rare items trading. That beta was for noobs too be rich for once in their life and own a rare item that costs 700mil... not learn how to fight again. But yall had to ruin that too.
So I have no idea why ya'll even brought it into the game when it had the worst population and ratings amongst the community.

Anyways, thought I would say a few things if you care.

I love the suggestion that you didn't know EoC wasn't ready. Honestly, you had to be the only one. There are 500 people in my clan and most of them planned to quit when you announced the release date for EoC. Now most of it was just empty threats but no one thought EoC was ready. A good idea? Yes. Well developed? Yes. Ready for the release? Not a chance.

I find most of the micro-payment stuff annoying but I respond by not supporting it. I've been a member for 7 years and I have to say, the game has gone down hill since the return of free trade. I'm still at a loss to why you don't bring back the trade limit. Make it higher so friends and QPs count for more but leave it in place. Trading obscene amounts of gold is the root of the bot problem. Solution: Limit said trades. From the birth of the GE to the fall of the trade limit, the game was infinitely more enjoyable. Bring that back.
