And here I was thinking Jagex would just allow the game to be free for members of eoc if we got close enough.. How stupid. They don't care about the community at all, they have deep pockets and they need filling. Just from the poll that was taken place (that you had to be a member for to vote), they recieved over $4,400,000 over a period of 2 weeks! That's a HUGE amount of money. How money hungry can they be?
Now they'll be getting the eoc membership plus an additional $5. In Australia, thats $14.50 a month. just how much money do you think i have Jagex? Maybe if i was very well off like your company and the people running it, i wouldnt have a problem.
Its time for Jagex to actually do something for the community if they truely care.. so you missed out on another $500,000. Who cares? you guys are super rich anyways (pulling in well over the $4,000,000 per month). Wave the $5 extra fee. There really is no need for us to have to pay it. It's just maddness.. :|

Doesn't anyone think that it is a weird idea to make changes in the 07 server. Isn't it the purpose for them to play the old 07. I think that that goal would be affected by making changes in it. I hope that jagex will stop spamming the homepage with 'oldskool' rs.

Thank you. We were only 50k votes off the 500k but 200k votes over the 250k so it is nice to see some compromise between the two levels of service. TBH I'm happier with a small dedicated team doing some community voted updates, rather than a larger team doing weekly updates.

I'm happy to use my membership for at least the next 6 months on the 2007 servers. I only log into EoC game for clan responsibilities. If I have to pay a small extra fee after that, so be it, its worth it for a non-EoC non SoF game. Though I'm sure the 2007 community will remain strong and grow stronger over this time.

Time for some '07 DIY skilling. Peace out and happy OSS playing
