This is great news, thanks a lot. I really hope the community stays strong and we can kick that extra fee for the '07 servers. Shame we couldn't hit the 500k! If we had a couple more days I'm sure we'd have made it. Such is life.

It's been great being back, the community has been so friendly and with any luck we'll be seeing it move from strength to strength as everything settles down and stabilizes even further.

Quite honestly, I'm disgusted.

I shouldn't be surprised given the track record recently, but the constant backtracking of your own spoken (typed) word has dealt a severe blow to the company's integrity. (what little is left)
It's great that many players (i.e.; Nostalgic morons who haven't a shred of loyalty) have access to this service like Classic, but I will have you reminded how it affected the main game and the other sub-community(s) that it enraged.


Hopefully this is the end of it, and this farce of an idea doesn't stick it's pestilent, hemorrhoid-covered arse in to my REAL Runescape ever again.

I realize not all Old School players are as I described, but the visual majority from my perspective, and many others', certainly are.
I'd also like to state that though I love this game and support JaGeX, they have FINALLY lost both my trust and commitment.

The next faux pas will very likely drive me away, if not others.

Oh the EOC people are hilarious.

How has 07 effected your community? Because you had to wait a week or two longer for content? I wouldn't be here at all if it wasn't for 07 so shut up. Some of us been waiting YEARS not weeks to get the game back we loved. Stop being an ignorant fool and go play a better MMO with an action bar. Oh my god people like marshall are ridiculous.

This is actually a blessing. They know that charging the $5 fee will negatively impact the 07 community and they don't want to seem cold hearted as it was just shy of 50k votes to the 500k target. I for one am very very happy that they are not charging. Thank you Jagex for supporting the nolstalgia.
