Thank you so much for you're care and support Jagex! I started playing in the first months of 2007 and this is truly amazing too not make us pay the extra fee for half a year and possibly not at all! It's still a lose-lose situation. Sure it's great that members get another half a year of free old school scape. But it is simply unreasonable to expect the community to still be "growing" 6 months after all the hype has worn down. There's still going to be a formidable and faithful playerbase, but to expect any growth is absurd.

The extra fee will be instated come September, and will kill off whatever community we have left by then.

This is a smart business decision, Jagex. Some friends I haven't seen in years have already come back, became members, and are playing the 07 version. Who knows, maybe those coming back for the 07 version will experiment with the current version too.

I enjoy being able to use my main account on the current version of RS and will probably make some sort of pure to PK with on the 07 version. It's pretty awesome that for $6 a month or whatever it works out to be with the premier club membership I can play RuneScape Classic, '07 Scape, and the current version! 3-in-1, doesn't get better than that! Thank you Jagex. Maybe some of those narrow-minded people will give the '07 version a shot someday.

Thanks for not charging for at least 6 months! That's great! I'll definitely play for 6 months more. Now that I hardly play EOC anymore, 07 is where most of my time will be spent! I'm hoping player activity doesn't decrease and that a $5 additional charge is NOT added on; in which case I will be ending my membership. Can't wait to see how it turns out.
